I think you should assess project in general. When you look at it anything should be transparent and easy to understand, details should be obvious, team involved and etc.

That's a very ambitious roadmap, most ICOs don't have plans all the way till 2021 but if anything that they've done is to go by on, I think their ASICS chips production will go fine as well.
I hope ASICS chips are very good for production but most of the community is not showing any interest towards the mining-based projects because till now many ICO implemented through the smart contract only, So there is no specialised mining how can we benefit from this company?
Regarding ASICS chips I think they're still really far away but maybe we'll get an official statement from ambit about what they're planning to do there later.
I agree that mining-based projects aren't really popular but I think if we see more startups like ambit, they'll certainly become popular. But aside from mining, Ambit also focuses on green and renewable energy, so what they're doing is, in fact, good for the environment. This is one of the biggest things that draw me to ambit, personally.
I do accept, but when it comes to reality it won't much influence the investors and in the beginning, the team will show interest towards mining, in fact, we faced some problems with the previous mining companies. Let's hope for best.
If the community finds something interest in the project then surely project is going to reach the hard cap. Already Ambit is gathering many great communities and recently they made the partnership with the other good company called Hacken.

This means that they already have a mining operation, they're making profit, they have space to scale up (better rigs, machines, etc.)
Makes sense because they're already making profit they can actually expand, which I hope this is what they'll do when they grow.
