Thank you for the update. Can you PLEASE assure all the investors who bought on CoinExchange that their coins WILL be fully valid towards swapping for the new ones?!
Also, please address the wallet malware/trojan issue -- these are the two biggest questions Ive seen all over here and twitter and FB -- thank you and let us all prosper together honestly.

Investors stay focused. Haters can hate :-) it dosen't bother us at all! the good thing is investors money is safe. I am 100% certain yobit screwed bitbase over..i by mistake included the full source with miners file and coin was submitted on Yobit well before coinexchange at 0.5 btc i even sent an email on 2017-10-25 08:30:30 bitbase they never replied and took 0.5 and also the source. As soon as bitbase was listed the dumping started..I am 100% sure these Bastards Yobit mined and dumped as many coins as possible. I would not trust them..They ignored my emails and never replied..i even offered more to list BTBc as i knew the complete source was submitted as it was then as soon as the dumping started on coinexchange was a big surprise.

so its more fair if everyone get the option to hold the coins or get the invested btc back.
this could only save him from getting found by ppl he dont want to i gues. at that point he also ned to fund the btc back then he got no choice + jail time

the old coin is the new coin, just renamed. No clarification about coins transferred from CE to wallet, hope they contract mining out. If you do a system scan after installing the wallet (do a full system scan) and the scan will identify a file in the wallet as a trojan virus.

Some people bought very cheap in pre-ICO, others bought cheap in the ICO and others bought very cheap in the exchanges .. what is the difference between them?
The answer is NONE. All of them have the same right because they bought the same coin that Bitbase sold at some point.

Should I get that Windows QT + Source zip on the BitBase notice? I've read a few comments on here that it contains a malware.
I'm really unsure what to do at this point, but I'm still hoping to save what little BTC I have invested. That is if there's any chance.

First of all, don't use the wallet that he provided because the wallet has a malware virus, if it were serious possibly he should deliver another without viruses.
Second, I do not say that he is going to make the swap of all the coins, I say that he should do the swap with all the coins because I imagine that he does not want to have a problem with all the investors that may be out of a possible swap.
The only thing that I can assure you is that if there are investors that are left out of a swap, they will pursue them legally and the new website/coin will not work because it is involved in fraud.
