This is the first project I see that focuses on education, and I'm glad we need more and more projects like this to make a more informed world.
I would like to know if these courses will be online, I find it very interesting because I would like to participate in some.
How would the scholarship program be distributed by a selection?
Actually a cruso that pays for students to learn will attract a lot of interested students, I hope the project will be realized soon.

We are glad that BitDegree caught your attention.
Yes the courses will be online and we hope you will participate in them!
All of the courses has a sponsor who funds the students participating. Depending on sponsor, students will receive micro-scholarships for learning. This is calculated by achievements every student is performing. Think of it this way, if you solve a "CodeCademy" style of exercise, you get micro-payment for doing that. This is one way of distributing sponsors funding to students.

Hi. Interesting project. Do I understand correctly that Coursera is not your main competitor as you have included "add-on" services, such as hiring and direct contacts with potential employee? Who would be your main "enemy", recruiting agencies? Thanks.
Hi finvestor,
You are correct, we are reinventing education, not just putting universities online. We have two types of competitors - technological ones and those on whose revenues we will prey. From the latter category, universities, code academies and recruitment agencies will suffer.

Hi enthusiast,
I would like to start by mentioning that for the first 1 year all courses on BitDegree will be free to attract as much students as possible. User growth pool will be used to incentivize this traction. In the future premium courses will be offered.
Students will be able to choose from a plethora of IT courses. Most of the courses will be free to enroll for the first year. All of the courses will have a sponsor who funds the students participating. Depending on sponsor, students will receive micro-scholarships for learning. This is calculated by achievements every student is performing. Think of it this way, if you solve a "CodeCademy" style of exercise, you get micro-payment for doing that. This is one way of distributing sponsors funding to students.
Another way is: Students enroll to paid courses. All the funds are frozen until, the achievement is unlocked. Basically students learn for free, because he is getting back his money while learning. This incentivizes students, to finish the course.
There will be more enrollment models how students will learn.
