Hello community! It's been a while since my last post here, where it all began.
Since that day in 2018, I've devoted my entire life to bringing to life a dream called "BitSong". Our mission was clear and simple: "To make music free for everyone, and to empower artists to have sovereignty over their creations."

In 2019, we transitioned from Ethereum to the Cosmos ecosystem. There, we dedicated ourselves to building our blockchain where a governance system could vote for the establishment of a musical ecosystem. Following that, we developed our first wallets, introduced IBC (Inter Blockchain Communication), and finally implemented CosmWasm for smart contracts.

Today, I'm proud to announce that we've reached our milestone. The latest version of BitSong now supports music streaming at https://testnet.bitsong.studio.

The tools that will soon go live on the mainnet include:

BitSong Studio, the UI tailored for Music NFT creators.
Several smart contracts (bs721, royalties, and launchparty)

With BitSong now you can:

Distribute your music P2P.
Add collaborators to your royalty set.
Collect royalties in real-time!

Mainnet Update — Unbonding feature ON!

A brief update on the progress of the mainnet and the announcement of a new feature which was integrated into our Web Player, the “Unbonding”.

Yeah that's right happening, they also include information about token migrate step for their user few days before mainnet launch.
If I take a look, so far the news is about mainnet and listed on coinmarketcap. Nothing else.
It looks like the community needs a new roadmap as a reference for its development, unfortunately they said only some part of the roadmap in the telegram group, not in full form.

apparently, they do it all because of the obligations to ICO investors.

Good for them, at least, they haven't abandoned this project yet. But they need to be visible in social media because I can consider this a relatively old one and a lot of people already forgot this project. At last, their mainnet has launched. Now, they need to promote their platform as much as they can, so they can gain audience here. This is long time in the making but at least they already come up with their product.

I think the most important partnership that BitSong has recently signed is the one with OKEx and its Open Blockchain OKChain. It will be good one also because both ecosystems are based on Cosmos-SDK and they will be able to interoperate easy through the IBC Protocol

it has been a while since we have sent an update email. In this period the BitSong team has worked a lot and we are approaching the release of the Roadmap that will take us to MainNet 1.0

i think the latest updates all about project development should have an impact on the value of the project itself and then news updates are very important for investors but back again to the current market conditions.

The OP was last active last year, but their website is still up.
They are not even listed either in CMC or coingecko at the moment.
But they are still having testnets. So maybe they are just laidback with their developments and news updates.
