We kept private conversations with a lot of "old" MTG players yesterday. One of them had some experience as semi-pro player during 2003-2004 seasons.
He appreciated the concept of an evolving meta-game, with three different timelines editions releases, in order to attract old/medium/new players.
He (and a friend) liked the project very much and are going to invest tomorrow an interesting % of the minimum goal.

They confirmed us this morning, sending us also the best original deck lists from the Qualifying 2004 World Tour to be added to our prebuilt decks. Thanks to them you'll find available the best 8 deck lists from the 2004 National Championship of Australia, Canada, England, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Spain, Sweden and United States! 80 additional, historically accurate, professional decks!

These will integrate perfectly with the "medium timeline", and will be a nice base for MTG players to build their own powerful "old Modern" decks. Exporting your deck for later use is as easy as importing a deck from outside, just a few clicks..

If anyone has old/new deck lists in txt or apprentice format who'd like to share with the world PM us. There may be interesting bounties (CGC only) for you.

Do not worry! Game engine is suited for Collectible Card Games and there goes 99% of our efforts.

We only said it's a "card game engine": it's pretty simple to add Poker or Blackjack on a side-server.
The most impressive thing about CGC project is its lightweight and modularity:

You download the core (10 MB or so, it should stay "inside" our wallet Qt in a future release).

You choose a game and simply download your module of interest (Mtg,Star Wars, Pokémon, Poker..) and copypaste it inside CGC folder.
You may download card graphics and copypaste them into "Graphics/Mtg" for a better game experience.
You launch the game and you can play, collect, and trade. Immediatly.

About time we release some screenshots about the "collecting" part of the experience..

CGC Signature campaign has been postponed to tomorrow. We finally found a manager: 0day will take care of both campaign and design.

I had to lock that thread because our signature were too similar to 777coin one.
Im going to personaly PM every signature holder asking to remove it and join the new campaign.
