Thank you for interest, the game is up and running.
We are testing the latest features to be ready for pre-release.

Main difference is the economic/collection aspect of the platform. But there are also some "gaming" ones.

  • A limited number of boosters available for each edition, with integrated halving, a +10% inflation each round should help cards increasing value with the time
  • Our editions release timelines should grant fun for years (and help card market movements) for both recent and vintage players
  • An integrated bet system should attract "gamblers"/players/game pros..
  • Players may host their own tables instances, for fun (and in future, profit)
  • Different Game Formats available inside a single game: "sealed" and the complex "draft" one (with cards temporary saved in a "sidechain") as example
  • Platform is modular, if tomorrow a collectible card game become a planetary success we may easily add it.
  • Our platform has a very user friendly live p2p card market, no fees!
  • A digital currency to backup in-game tokens (used for in-game instant transactions)
  • We can add Poker anytime to the environment (Poker + bet system + anonymous digital currency = money)
  • Multiple games could be available at once, no need to look for a website for every card game you'd like to play, same currency for every game..
  • We are going to migrate our DB on a counterparty system so people can have full control over the cards he bought/won

Nothing like that actually exists
Give a look at the whitepaper on our website to see available/planned features.

CGC Assets Scarcity and market effects

Each edition will be limited in number. CGC Server regularly checks all boosters. If it find an out of stock product, then it will add a shipment of product with halved availability (compared to the previous stock) and price increased by 10%. This slightly rewards “early investors”, and later it will reward “early buyers” of each edition. Live market cards prices should benefit from 10% exponential booster price inflation. Inflation won’t be excessive since 2/4 of each edition cards will be minted at starting price, another 1/4 with just a 10% increase. Once an edition is sold out no more cards of a specific edition can be minted. Cards live market will benefit from both fixed scarcity and expected increasing players base.

Simple hypotethical numbers example:
Only 1024 hypotethical boosters of edition X will be available.  First batch will be 512 boosters for sale at 10 $ . Once they’re sold out next batch will be 256 boosters for sale at 11 $, then 128 at 12.10 $, then 64 at 13.31 $, then 32 at 14.64 $, then 16 at 16.10 $, then 8 at 17.71 $, then 4 at 19.48 $, then 2 at 21.43 $ and eventually last one at 23.57 $. No more cards of that edition will be minted. For those wondering average edition X sale price would be about 11.10 $ , at least 5675 CGC (50% of total) will be kept on a public address and used for community rewards. Remaining funds will be used for server hosting, mainteinance and upgrades.

Blockchain technology will allow full market decentralization and fairness.

All is great and fine but to get 100BTC ICO you need better promotion or you can forget to ever achieve this goal

I see magic the gathering land cards ^^ So this is a card game ? Very cool I hope you go through with this do you not have a game up yet ? How do we buy cards ? Do they come in packs ? Will the game be a stand alone client ? Anti-Cheat and all of that. It will be fun to have cards so they count as currency and you play games with your investment as appose to doing nothing with it, this is great.

So far its seems promising. Are there a lot of prebuilt decks for noob players like me?

A lot!
We added a screenshot to show for every edition you may find 4/5 prebuilt decks, not just one. They tend to cover all the colors.
Dont'worry you can chose among a few hundreds one  Grin

More advanced (or nostalgic) players may like the prebuilt "World Championship" section, with the replica of the best 8 decks played at the MTG World Championship event, each year.

Your project is looking much interesting but the problem is that not much people know about it, You need to advertise it over the internet and on this forum just like other  developers are doing like promoting through signature campaigns, twitter campaigns, facebook and through other ways. I will keep an eye on this thread and if came to know that you are going to get the goal then will invest some bits in it.

Thanks for your suggestions. We will try to improve social communications. Our budget is very low, otherwise we wouldn't set up a crowdfunding for the project.
We tried offering over 20k CGC to a signature manager (and a 50k budget) but that was not enough.

A preview of the single card menu from the player's point of view:
Please notice with a single click or  CTRL + H shortcut "mouseovering" a card you can print to the screen the "Official MTG card text data, with errata corrige".
A huge database players will surely enjoy.

With CTRL + S or CTRL + B you may put a card for sale to the community at the price you decide, or buy a card from a player: the best priced card will be available on top of the list and you'll see Price and Seller on the collection page itself. CGC server won't take any fees.

Definitely looks good. Making me wish I still had all my MTG cards from the early 90's. I had like 50k cards. Ahh the memories. First time MTG ever had competitions so I join (costed me $5 to play people once a week). Get to championship and I get disqualified BECAUSE NO ONE HAD EVER SEEN A BURN DECK. Took 4 turns = dead opponent. NEXT.

Ouch man, older edition's cards are worth thousands dollars nowadays. Power nines reached crazy valutations because they never reprinted them.

We planned to release single edition boosters following three long but sped up parallels timelines, in historically accurate blocks.

  • Vintage Timeline: for old players as you, who with older editions, to keep T1 metagame varied and stimulate card trading
  • Central Timeline: medium age editions, to let players "revive old good past times" in a "old T2s" environment. Tons of good cards for Legacy format
  • Present Timeline: for a younger audience, or Modern players, who want to play T2 sealed/draft as if they were in the card shop of their town
.

Each table instance has a legality check to ensure you'd play against an agreed deck format. No surprises! We will post screenshots of that feature.
