Entrade IOs' team was the best team I've seen so far. They're so hardworking-giving us an update on what was happening in the project and they even giving us informations on how their platform work and what it can do in our daily lives.. Even their social media accounts is updated. Very reliable team I can say. Good job Entrade team and big thanks for creating such amazing platform.

What is this Entrade Energy Platform?
Entrade IO together with #Schneider Electric is creating an Ethereum-based platform to allow trading and monitoring of the #renewable energy units (cWh). Crypto-Watt-Hours (cWh) will represent the units of #energy consumers can purchase from producers or energy off-takers, through our developed platform or the mobile app.
The platform links the management of the project to the monitoring of the energy units created, managed and sold in real-time. Investors, donors, and customers can see live how energy, as well as funds, are transferred via OPCUA Open Data protocols running on IPSec2 hardware encrypted data channels. This way, financial investment as well as social and #climate #impact can be monitored and monetized in real time.
ENTRADE’s IO will benefit from fees for transactions processed on the platform, with platform tokens increasing in value with the rising number of projects financed, executed, and monitored through the ENTRADE IO platform. The Entrade.io platform will create an ecosystem of collaborations and trade between parties all over the world, ensuring that the physical units of energy reach the final consumers reliably and more efficiently than ever.

The urgency is real. Our nature is at stake when the demand for #fossil fuels are high, as businesses will try to get a hand on it to fulfill those demands. #Deforestation has caused many lives lost for the animals, and they are on the verge of extinction. Fossil fuels, up until now, has been a prime source of #energy needed to run current human civilization, such as cars, #machines, #water distillation, household electricity, etc. By moving on from fossil fuels system into modern #renewable energy system, we can reduce deforestation and earth exploitation, as renewable energy tend to make use of wastes and #biomass, and just like what we do with fossil fuels, we can turn those wastes and biomass into energy as we need it.
The clock is ticking and we can start now to save the #earth together!
Entrade's compact micro-grid #technology has been developed so that small businesses or regular household can control power on their own, and our technology (supported by digital platform) will be able to reach rural areas around the world. Why #Entrade supports Renewable Energy?
Fossil fuels, like oil, took really long time to be made and extracted. They are limited and dependent on nature's process. Renewable #energy, on the other hand, can be done by #modern #technology and considered clean sources of energy that have a much lower #environmental impact than conventional energy technologies. Renewable energy plays an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions while #fossil fuels are known to have produced carbon emissions.
Current energy systems are not only outdated in terms of hardware and software, but they also can’t keep up with consumer trends. How BC technology is being used for our #token system?
Here's the infographic on how blockchain works. To digitize energy assets Entrade IO along with our partner #SchneiderElectric plans to develop a utility token that can express #renewableenergy in a digital way and allow people to easily purchase and trade energy. Crypto-Watt-Hours (cWh) will represent the units of energy, where consumers can purchase from producers or #energy off-takers, through our developed platform or the mobile app. They do not fall under securities act or regulations which facilitates their further trading and usage in crowdfunding of energy projects.
The overall cost of crowdfunding is reduced by about 20% when using the #utility tokens rather than securities as it helps avoid the broker fees on security transactions, closing fees, and other legal and due diligence costs. Using tokens also helps transfer units of energy globally even if only virtually. Normally, the energy is traded as a commodity and large units can be transferred, stored, or off-taken when there is an excess in one region vs. the other. But the real energy often cannot be easily transferred except between neighbouring countries or using grids, physical batteries, and other infrastructure.
With energy expressed as digital tokens, it can be traded globally and exchanged between parties even though the electrons themselves are not transferred. The Entrade.io platform will create an ecosystem of collaborations and trade between parties all over the world, ensuring that the physical units of energy reach the final consumers reliably and more efficiently than ever.

They aim to provide electricity in remote areas around the globe which is a good thing to do. #tbt to the recent pictures of our team in India - documenting one of our most ambitious projects so far: an off-grid #biomass, solar, storage system. This will hopefully be a successful pilot to be adopted all over the region. India has been making big advances in providing power to its growing population, and will continue doing so. Despite rural areas still being underserved and some people are still burning agricultural waste, we are moving on to a better #India one step at a time!
