1. We’re preparing to redeploy the chat application to hosts in our Alpha Test for Elemental Chat on Monday March 15th.
2. What that means is that hosts are going to experience the same chat experience but the historical messages will be cleared and we will begin to see the peers in the application grow from a small number back to the 360+ we have today.
3. In more technical terms we are updating the DHT by deploying a new DNA (application backend) with a new identifier for the shared database as well as a refactored frontend.
4. A Bit of Context : The current test has provided exactly what a test should provide - a learning opportunity. We have been watching and analysing performance and user experience in order to improve it.
5. We have found small bugs in the Elemental Chat front end, and also some networking issues related to the current state of Holochain development.
6. These findings let us reprioritise work in the Holochain team so that we better enable development priorities on the Holo roadmap. It really is a dance getting both Holochain and Holo production ready.
7. The test environment is still working fine, and this small reset of the host environment let’s us evaluate all together the many changes that have been made at different layers of our tech in the natural deployed environment.
8. We also are planning to begin sending email campaigns to the many HoloPort owners who have not yet turned on their ports and joined the conversation.
9.  Elemental Chat for hosts will be reset on Monday - March 15th
- Historical chat data will be cleared
- The chat experience will be essentially the same
- Hosts may notice that DNA reference is displayed differently in the hover

Since HOT is a ethereum based token, you can transfer it to any eth wallet and keep them save.


Don't you think that the Holo developers team is too much slow in releasing the updates and working product. That's the reason there is no interest in this project at least for now.

So with HOT can you just transfer it to a regular ETH wallet? Curious about getting into this.

That is good news for the Holo chain. I know there is a big scope in this project which no one realize at this moment. Holo developers are developing the project at the slow pace but the end result will be very good. We need more update of this sort, more often. 

Wow, big news, Holochain network is working as it said in monthly report. Currently about 50 HoloPort owners (testers) who is chatting with each other using Holochain network

IMO, working hard is really their job as investors are trusting them with their money. However, on the investors side, we all want to see a result, and unfortunately, this project has been affected a lot by the long bear market, it has not recovered yet despite a bullish market.

We haven't seen any hot news yet but the HOLO team is still working hard. Hopefully next time there will be good updates and prices will fly high, should still hold.

The trading volume on the HOT/USDT pair is the largest, so i think this effect will not be large. The coin's value also hasn't changed much after this news.

Another bad news for the Holo holders that it will be delisted from the Binance as per the latest announcement https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/807964b2b1344df192814fcbc4ff97a8. There was so low volume for this coin in binance and therefore binance decided to delist the HOT/BTC pair.

Anyone knows what is the future of this project ?

Just saw Monthly Roundup for Holo & Holochain October edition. Will it be the same roundup for november and other months later?

I have invested this coin during the year and lost over 1 BTC in it, I need the good new about this project.

They keep on updating more or less the same things again n again. We have been hearing about holochain and holofuels for a long time but still they are not active. Even if the team has a vision in place, their development is very much slow.

The HOT team has updated on their roadmap on November 5, it outlines their upcoming milestones. The development plans for Holo & Holochain RSM are very detailed.

I am also waiting for any good partnerships or updates in the HOLO network. This project had a lot of potential but i don't know why the team is not active on bitcointalk.
Any news about holoports and swaping of token ?

It is interesting that HOT will be listed by Thodex with direct exchange to Turkish lira, very convenient i think, but it was month ago. What latest news?

Whats news here over last year? They talked about partnership with Alibaba as far as i remember. How this progress going or this were just another marketing tricks? Any others big companies which using Holo nowdays?

On Twitter, HOT posted a listing announcement on a new exchange. From September 10, will the same deposit be available on Thodex, on September 11, trading will begin on the following trading pairs: HOT / TRY and HOT / USD https://twitter.com/H_O_L_O_/status/1303981590297612290?s=20

Maybe that guy is not following this project or just looking into this thread. The team is active and development going on very smoothly from my point of this is life changing project who could help the people to make big profit in future.

Someone just released a video showing the first ever Dapp developed on it using HoloFuel the other day.

Go look at their AMAs and dev conventions. Its far from being dead.
