In doing so, sellers of surveys are digitizing their survey to make a true public record for the availability of future generations. No longer will surveys be required for existing land or property that’s been uploaded (unless improvements or changes have been made to the dimensions of the land).
The exchange of ACR coins will create a value that surveyors must compete against if a buyer wants to decide between hiring a surveyor or purchasing an older survey. No longer will site surveys be required for an up to date property if that survey is already available on a marketplace.
Acreage’s end goal is to create an innovative marketplace, the first of it’s kind, where owners of surveys will be able to upload, post for sale, and receive ACR tokens in exchange.
