VR is the future, no doubt about it. Can I ask you why vibe needs to be used? Like, whats stopping Microsoft or a different company using different coins for it?

AR/VR for concerts and meet&greets...don't know if I like this part of the marketplace, people go concerts to actually have a "taste" of their favourite artists, same for meet&greet. Especially if we talk about hard rock and metal

What about the people that can't actually physically make it out to a live concert. Just imagine how satisfying this would be for someone like that.

Seems to be interesting concept. Will read the whitepaper later.

Is the tokens just for the crowdfunding and currency in coming marketplaces, or is blockchain supposed to be used somehow with this project?

Good luck for the dev!

This could be a great tech, VR and AR is going to rocket in the coming years so i have no doubt these marketplaces will fail. Hope this succeeds!

Please don't get misunderstood by our model, we never want to take away from going to live concerts and completely disregard live shows. We are just offering Artists another avenue to generate income in a really cool way and for fans to have the option to see a live performance in Virtual Reality and seem like you're actually there while sitting in your living room.

I can see this go strong with old bands. Kiss for example, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are always looking for new methods to generate revenues, if Gene can generate moneys and get in touch with fans by staying in his studio he'll be the happiest man in the world, trust me on this Grin

Am sorry kraterion but i would have to disagree with you. In certain parts of the world hentai porn amasses more revenue than the regular stuff. I hate to take it to the extreme but it's to prove a point. Also, i have associates/friends that are far more occupied by the lives of their imaginary friends on face-book than their friends in real life.

The immersion of technology in our day to day lives have created a phenomenon where several individuals would rather deal with life from an augmented state than actually deal with it in real life. We all heard stories of ppl neglecting themselves to take care of their sims character.

you might be surprised how many fans that would appreciate the idea of personally interacting with a virtual version of a celebrity rather than impersonally dealing with the same celebrity in real life.
So your post might apply to the late 20 something and above demographic but for this younger generation who VR is modeled for, a lot appreciate augmented reality to real life.

That's my point of view reagarding hard rock and metal lives maybe I'll be wrong. If we speak about targets like Rihanna, Madonna etc...yes, I agree with you.
If we speak about the teacher's hub instead, I really like it, this hub can really boom. Imagine if you work full time and you want to upgrade your curriculum with a new training course, instead of waste time to go to a school (and also you're tired and stressed) you can just sit down in your living room and do it from home

In Japan they've turned the concept of VIBEHub inside out. The artist's holograph doesn't come to your place to give a concert, you go to a concert to see the holograph who is the artist.

Well in France, it's our politic who are using this technology  Grin

VR technology could have a use in every domain thinking of it, even politic Smiley

They do this for 2 PAC in America as well. Taking this technology and using it in a way to live stream concerts, education lessons or virtual dates is what really makes this so fascinating

Do you have a bigger team behind or there is just five of you like you presented yourself? It feels like this is too small team for such a big project. I imagine there will be a lot of programing involved in the future to add all those new features.

Our team is small at the moment but very strong, most of our team has been developing VR programs for years now, which is why the quality of our technology is among the best in the world for VR technology. Expanding our team is what we are using a portion of the funds raised during the ico for, hire more 3D modelers, graphic artists and coders so we remain far ahead of anyone in this space with the vision we have.

Just read the whitepaper. I like the idea.
The 3 initial hubs describer are a very good beginning. I like the project so far.
Are there any other HUBS planned for the future?

Not to mention that astronomical revenue artists and educators will be able to earn by streaming their music or lessons in Virtual Reality. Also this video you posted is a 3D model of Rihanna and we will be using holoporation technology to capture the real life image of rihanna as she plays in real time. So what you are looking at in this Video will actually be Rihanna on the VibeHub platform and not a 3D model. Still a really cool video tho and puts it into perspective  Smiley

Aren't they both technically 3D models? But I think I get what you're saying, theirs is probably modeled and textured by hand, then animated by hand or mocapped, while Holoportation generates a textured, animated model in real-time.

When I have some free time I'll read this paper. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/306544236_Holoportation_Virtual_3D_Teleportation_in_Real-time

Personally, I don't like this part  Grin I mean, I love going to metal + rock concerts  Smiley. But for me it's not only about music... the interaction with other fans, having a beer with them, etc. It's an experience of all senses which I can't image you have in VR.
But of course, from an investor's point of view the subject "VR" is worth considering.

They already raised 3400 ETH? How much they want to raise in total (soft and hard cap) ?

We had no soft cap, but with 3400 raised and  just under 3 weeks to go we are very happy with our position. The maximum that can be contributed during the token sale is 115,000 ETH

So, you want to raise around 40 mln usd? Until which date will be crowdsale?
