The dev's could've said from the beginning .. hey guys careful if you want to invest ... we'll add this token only on shitty exchanges so you will not be able to really trade it ... so please don't invest unless you are a holder, long term investor and all the bla bla. Do you think they would've raised that much money in those conditions? I doubt.
And yes ... in the future I will take care ... I will buy in after ICO has ended and buy under the ICO price and only on decent exchanges.

What facts? Just because this wasn't listed on Polo or Trex doesn't mean it's a failed project. Just because they didn't the hype the shit of ICN and got listed on Polo so you can dump your coins for a quick buck doesn't mean it's a scam.

I know it all depends on the success of their investments, but lets say they only return 10% in the first year (which is still impressive imo), would that mean 10% of 4.5mill so 450k turned into eth then split by 100million, so each icn see's 0.0045 usd/year? So if i hold 1000icn i see 4.5usd return a year as a dividend?

So ... lets do some calculation ...
1000 ICN x 0.00020000 BTC\ICN (ICO price) => 0.2 BTC invested for 1000 ICN
4.5 USD in dividends / 1000 ICN / year => 4.5 USD / 745 USD/BTC => ~ 0.006 BTC / 1000 ICN / year
So the ROI would be 0.2/0.006 => ... ~ 33.33 years ... this is huge wtf ...
So ... lets discuss further about dividends and where should you keep your ICN in order not to miss the precious dividends.
My prediction is like this: people will post pics with Lambos, and to the moon sheet, price will slowly go up until the dividends are payed because people are retarded and refuses to make simple calculations ... this will be the perfect time to sell ... people will smash their head on the cruel reality and will dump the tokens as fast as they can. So you will be able to re-buy them at ICO price ... or under. Then the next waive of delusional expectation will come.
This dividends BS is just that BS ... the real value is a pump and dump. IT has to be pumped to 5 USD, then people will dump to some stupid delusional guys thinking this will go to the moon. There is the profit. Then those will realized they've been high doing that and will dump also but at an ICO like price ... then normal people will buy back and voila ... profit. And the cycle will resume ... but not with dividends ... probably second cycle will be with the mighty "platform" ... sure ... managing funds. Of course no one really knows in practice how it will be. But is good to be use for another pump and dump.

I think the dividend thing is only going to disappoint. They are investing in tech startups, which never turn a profit and never have free cash flow in the opening years.
The only way they could pay dividends is if a portion of management fees from funds or trading expenses are distributed to holders of icn tokens.
The fund management team can find out what is working and what not and drop possible failing projects out of the funds (active management) and if you don´t like the idea of investing in tech startups, you can invest in the ICNX index which contains crypto currencies. Also keep in mind, that they can and probably will use the platform for real assets, which is mentioned in their FAQ.
So even if the complete cryptoworld "collapses", you have a solid fund management platform, which can be adopted by every fund manager who is already out there!
