I'm struggling with downloading the blockchain (using Ethereum wallet) and only a few blocks left (I have the latest version yes) , If the Ethereum hard fork happens like stated above , should we re-download the blockchain or change the wallet ? or everything would be the same ?

Man you're persistent! A week ago you were downloading it already  Wink why don't you switch to parity or jaxx?

I prefer using the official wallet (It's the case for every crypto currency out there) , I feel that my coins are more secure . Besides , I don't like secondary solutions. So , any idea If we should redownload after the hard fork ?

I guess we will. There will be two hardfork: one to prevent DDos and the second to clean the bloated blockchain (eliminate empty blocks etc...)

Why not etc then lol
they have the same flaw silly

ETH Chain on this coming monday:

A hard-fork based on EIP 150 version 1c will be put into effect at block 2457000. This will reprice certain operations to correspond better to the underlying computational complexity.

A second hard-fork will follow shortly after, aimed at reverting the current “state-bloat” introduced by the attacks. This second fork will serve to remove accounts which are empty; lacking code, balance, storage and nonce == 0.

yes, you read it right; DOUBLE hardfork. Go team Ethereum! owait.

Problem is that ETH addresses people added to ICONOMI website will be deleted if they have no balance.
ICONOMI team has to do something, so that they won't send ICN to non existing addresses.

Possible solution: ICONOMI team sends a balance of: 0.00000001 ICN or 0.00000001 ETH (or the lowest denomination possible) to all account holders that put their ETH wallet addresses on the ICO website, that way the wallets wont be empty any longer as they will have a positive balance of 0.00000001 ETH

Is the ICONOMI team has inside info about the eth fork?
They announced about token withdraw next Tuesday. Then today ethereum announced for the fork on next Monday.
So the token withdraw will happen just one day after the fork? It seems like this is already planned.

shit I've already set my eth wallet address there. seriously?

Got his email from ICONOMI
"Due to increasing instability of the Ethereum network during the last few days, ICONOMI is forced to further postpone genesis of its ICN token"
Is ICONOMI on the verge of collapse even before take off?

don't scare us lol. they can always postpone whenever they like but not collapse.

COINPRISM does a great job re: token distribution & dividends but it's on top of the Bitcion blockchain

Bitcoin it self is too fu... slow Smiley when i was sending testing token by ETH it was 30s... with LOW fee 4min. with lower costs of 0.001 ETH.

...The point is ETH is just at veeery early stage, and building a company on something so unmature is just unreasonable.
....

Point of using NOW eth is simple high liquidity you get ETH you sell it fast with low cost.
ETH is just for dividends and distribution ICONOMI. If in future some system will be faster and have more liquidity ICN will move to it.
Now there is no real alternative .

I dont no why any of you hates HARDFORKS. For me a Hardfork is no Problem. Better some hardforks to create a stabil System,
else to do nothing. ETH is in BETA and all we know that BETA means a lot of work. So where is the Problem?

There is no problem about that but i'd rather prefer to use the beta as its an ongoing development than get stuck.
ETC is good back when it started but after it, you need to dump it for you'll be stuck to it. there won't be any huge movement to it anymore.
