Here's an opportunity. Infinitecoin (IFC) has just appeared many cheap chips in crex24 exchange. It's a good opportunity to build a position. If you don't have any chips, don't miss this opportunity!!

The more you know about infinitecoin, the more addictive it will be, because it is the top competitor of bitcoin, and dogecoin can't be compared with infinitecoin.

Yes. Currently the CREX24 is the only market to trade IFC.

I can finally see my coins. Thanks all. Is Crex24 the only market to trade IFC?

Hey all, I dug out my 8 years old IFC. Apparently, it went up 1200% since then. I grabbed version 1.8.8 of the wallet, which takes a really long time to sync, in fact, it stayed at about 50% for a few days and even backtracked a little, and still not done. I don't know, it's acting strange. So, I tried the latest client version (0.10.4.1), which doesn't show my restored wallet and has corrupted the data of version 1.8.8. SOL. Any ideas why the latest wallet won't show my restored wallet and pending coins?
If the backup file you restore is the restored address, remember this
Your coin is in the address, not in a certain wallet version
You can wait for the latest block to be synchronized (it takes about 24 hours)
Or you can also use the block explorer to check according to the address

Thanks, guys. I edited my OP with a resolution I got from IFC Telegram. I currently have the latest version of the wallet syncing and although I can't see my pending coins yet, it does display the send and receive history, so I think it's ok. I'll let it sync with the hope it'll resolve on its own.

OK Good luck, we hope more people find here to solve the wallet usage problem

About wallet mining (CPU mining)
Assuming your computer CPU has 4 cores and 8 threads, then console input.

#Start mining
setgenerate true 8

#Query mining information
getmininginfo

#Stop mining
setgenerate false
No one will use the CPU and GPU to mine the cryptocurrency of the Scrypt algorithm. It is now 2021.

The recovery and backup is just to recover the address of the wallet. You can check whether there is a coin in your address in the block browser. The default block of version 1.8.8 block is on disk C. If you run 0.10, it will also be loaded on Disk C, then the 0.6 core block must be damaged, but there is no problem with the backup file!

Edit: I got in with the folks on Telegram and it seems version 1.8.8 will never finish syncing, because some blocks are corrupted in a way that prevents this version from syncing, hence why it kept on backtracking.

I have a GPU standing here and I was thinking about mining some IFCs, but apparently it's no longer valid. The price is still not that high according to the potential of IFC and even then the difficulty for mining is already high. I will be obliged to mining other coins to sell and buy IFC and await an appreciation in the future.

Transfer on the chain began to be a little active. It seems feasible to rely on the internal circulation mode of mining by handling charges. Moreover, more and more people rely on the use of infinitcoin, and the foundation is getting better and better. Transfer on the chain will be more frequent, and the benefit of handling charges will be higher.
