Hi Guys,
So I am still new to this. Does this coin have a dev attached to it?
Where can you buy some coins? I am going to read through some of the older post to find out what I can
Thanks

Infinitecoin, all data indicators show that it is a high-quality coin, and the price is at a low period, which is a good opportunity to build positions. Global investment enthusiasts are gradually building positions, and it will soon become a global star coin!!

Hi Guys,
I just opened up my wallet and there are no connections. I am using ver 1.8.8.0
is there a newer version?
Any ideas on how to get connections?
Thanks
Version 1.8.8.0 has known vulnerabilities and it is not recommended to use it. It is actually Bitcoin 0.6 core.
Download the latest version 0.10 core
https://github.com/infinitecoin-project/infinitecoin

Thanks man. I just tried it and it seems to be syncing.
I really appreciate it

Is it  possible to run the wallet on a recent linux installation?

I get all kinds of problems with the need to install ancient versions of libraries like:

/infinitecoin-0.10.4.1-linux64/infinitecoin-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.58.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

libboost_system.so.1.58.0 was part of Ubuntu 16.4, which was released in 2019. It is not available in newer distributions.

The linux version does have compatibility issues, and I have been annoyed by this issue.
The client compiled by ubuntu14.04 version cannot run on ubuntu16.04.

I will upload the client compiled by ubuntu16.04 as soon as possible

Infinitecoin wallet has been updated to the 0.10 core. Many people's synchronization results are 14 to 16 hours, from 0 to the latest block. Experiencing synchronization wallet saves a lot of time,

With the increase of the transaction volume of transfer on the chain, mining workers will have a good harvest. This is a virtuous circle. Infinitecoin will become a world star!!

This is correct but Dogecoin seems to undergo an irrational rally for reasons that don't apply to Infinitecoin. I don't know how helpful it is to apply technical analysis to coins that are driven by dynamics that mainly consist of irrational market forces. For instance, there won't be another Dogecoin, there can only be one. It wouldn't work for another meme coin the same way.
Infinitcoin has more potential.

Infinitecoin Core v0.10.4.1 Major upgrade, faster synchronization
https://github.com/infinitecoin-project/infinitecoin/releases

On February 23, 2021, it was said that the former community leader TECSHARE had passed away 6 months ago!
I don't want this to be true. TECSHARE is a very principled and honest person. I hope he is still alive.

Has gained control of infinitecoin.com The website is under construction
Thank you very much TECSHARE

If you have to use the 1.8.8 version to synchronize the blocks, then after the synchronization to 5844068, you will be prompted that you may need to upgrade the version
You can use version 0.6.8.1 to run the client alternately to solve
why? You can go to see what happens to the block explorer height 5844069? In addition to 5844069, there are 5951009 to 5951013 consecutive 5 blocks, etc.https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ifc/block.dws?b48e13721df37a44b68c5d11a022f5350805ba329478ed3feae971573c0426e7.htm

For knowledge about the use of computer wallets, you can check my Twitter
If you don’t understand, you can contact me

If you use a different version of the wallet and the mining pool
Mismatched transaction fees lead to card transactions. Do n’t worry. Contact me to switch the mining pool version.

Unfortunately, I saw this forum too late and used wallet v 1.8.8 which I downloaded from this website...
Is there anything I can do to cancel this transfer, use the 0.10 version and redo the transfer?
Thanks!
As long as the previous backup is available, it is recommended to use the latest 0.10 core wallet to restore the backup. If it is not confirmed and packaged, the coin is still in its original address,

Remember to use the backup and restore before transfer, or use the private key to restore. (Note: do not use the wallet. Dat backup and restore that has been transferred.)
