The block reward code is as follows:
Code:
int64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 524288 * COIN;

// Subsidy is cut in half every 86400 blocks, which will occur approximately every 1 month
    nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 86400); // Infinitecoin: 86400 blocks in ~1 month
    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

The halving is every month (based on 30 second blocks).  After 64 months, the halving number appears to return to 0 based on the undefined behavior of a 64bit number being right shifted 64 bits.

According to the C++ language, this operation has undefined results -- this means that the result could be different on different machines/CPU's.

If there are differences this could lead to forks or clients and apps that do not sync past 5529600.

This will require a hard fork fix on the code above.  At a certain block height in the future, this code would be modified to force the reward to be zero.
Thank you very much! Very precious clue

After five years, infinite coins have been halved dozens of times. There is no block reward at all since block height 3974400.

Recently, Infinitecoin wallet has a flaw, and an error occurred in the inner loop mining, which caused Infinitecoin community and Infinitecoin fans to be unable to synchronize the wallet, to conduct transfer between the trading platform, who can help Infinitecoin wallet upgrade and repair, the team and fans can donate Infinitecoin to technical supporters as a reward.

The value of ifc currency has steadily picked up.  Unlimited coins are gradually spreading to more and more holders due to their obvious distribution advantages and characteristics.

Just noticed something interesting. Even though mined blocks do not result in a reward showing in the client transaction list, each block still has a coinbase transaction granting it.

For example, block height 3337731 (mined just before I wrote this message) has a coinbase reward of 0.00000190 IFC. The network grants the funds to that address but the client seems to ignore them, probably because the amount is too small (dust) to ever be used.

Will IFC wrap around at 64 bits and go back to a full reward, like some other coins have? If so, I think this will happen in about 2 years time.
