Great! Can we see the "escrow" address?

I don't know where it is just going off what was said in the thread.

Really though 13 BTC for an IPO scam is weak sauce if it is one.

Oh, so no "escrow address"...   Huh

$5850.00 USD is weak sauce?

13BTC is a lot of money in most part of the world.

FYI, this is Maidak's escrow address: https://blockchain.info/address/1Je4efdRaZxqNtL2ZXu3xG7VjkMRRZbLZK

And this is the dev's BTC address: https://blockchain.info/address/1A9WGhmJeURmb8wGfNkogx9MmDp24zMa3d

No need to be on coinssource, who the hell would pay to be "real"? Crypto Asian is a much better service.

As a trader who trades 18+ hours per day, I would 100% recommend holding onto this coin, with devs from MIT updates will be pushed out faster than any other coin, with no bugs and all that shit, if your looking for a solid investment Intellicoin is your answer, I'm expecting a dramatic increase in price in the coming hours, take no notice of order books currently

Wow, so the DEVs made 13.9 BTC from the pre-sale. Where did that go to?  Roll Eyes

Maidak has the "escrow".

The IPO ledger has been removed from OP, however when I viewed it last the majority of the investors did not use the escrow...even after escrow has been announced to be available.

Everyone was pretty confident until the dev(s) took down their real names--embedded in their emails. With the recent scam trends, its totally understandable why such a move raised suspicion. So if the devs are confident of their themselves, and are willing to disperse the community's wariness, all they have to do is to explain why they took down their names.

People who find their explanation reasonable would stay while the rest would move on. IMO, its unnecessary to come out to sarcastically challenge someone to try buy whatever website.

However, if they feel the community doesn't deserve apt responses to their queries then........

The caption "Please do not spam the email addresses." Underneath the current email addys explains quite a bit. Their personal emails were probably flooded.

How much of 1,800,000 premine went to the presale? and how much to DEVs? I do not see this listed anywhere.
13.9 BTC were sent for the pre-sale. The 1,800,000 were divided among the payees based on how much BTC they sent. I can't tell you whether the developers bought any for themselves.

I dunno but I gotta say, Syscoin can't even put out a working wallet and they don't know how to perform a simple hardfork and got 1500BTC.  Here you have a team of intelligent students and they only net 13.9 BTC?  Wish it were the reverse.

The fact they took down their names though makes me believe they might be telling the truth. Wouldn't scammers just not put their name up to begin with or try to pass off those fake names as being legit?

You have a good point but you cant hold it against others who would have thought of the other logical reasons for that action --

Oh i'm not holding it against others, everyone has a right to question and have a meaningful discussion just giving my counter-argument.

Here is my other rebuttal too, even if the devs are not MIT students but have access to the touchstone system, their identities are probably still known and if they dare to run a scam using MIT resource materials they are playing with fire big time, both in the criminal and civil courts. Is it worth all that to make a few thousand dollars in a pump and dump? I'm not so sure...

You have a good point but you cant hold it against others who would have thought of the other logical reasons for that action -- which could run to thousands-- and were not comfortable with same. It only makes sense to ask questions in order to make an informed conclusion rather than relying on some assumptions that has been drawn up based on sentiments (or not). Its the beauty of dialogue.

Yea, P2Pewl is facing a few issues. I'll try and get it up as soon as possible.

Dev to lazy to upload source to github... I'll do it...  Tongue

Valzador, may I ask what is your involvement with the project? Dev said source will be released 1 week after launch but somehow you were able to obtain the source?

Has anyone received a reply from dev at the [email protected] address?

Some might view my next comment as FUD but I call it due diligence...
Someone has already mentioned that dev could be using purchased @mit.edu address and I think it could very well be a possibility.
It seems, with a valid mit.edu email address, you can create any websites, including intellicon.mit.edu from sites.mit.edu.
I also find it conflicting for dev to go through the trouble of protecting his/her name with privacyprotect.org when registering intellicoin.me, yet he/she openly posts two names and emails on the first page.
These suspicions will exist unless dev(s) can prove their legitimacy.

I'm not related to the development team in any way.

I made an investment of 0.25 BTC and offered to host a pool. I also helped compile the mac wallet. I was given the source to compile and setup my pool. Since other people also wanted it, I decided it was best to just upload it to a git.

With your other reply about how I could modify the source code. I could modify it but where does that take me with me investment? I have a reputation to keep and customers to serve.

I can't imagine the kind of emails a female dev would be getting right now in this vile forum frankly.
