Okay, so here's my answer.

The squares with lines is an anagram for currency
Now for all the other symbols. From left to right, top to bottom:

Chinese symbol upper left is for Nitrogen --> N
h (macron below) --> H
Greek i is for Iota --> I
greek Sigma --> S
Greek Phi --> P
Greek alpha x 2 --> AA
y - 2 is 2 characters before y --> W
C --> C
Greek p is for Rho --> R
Greek Omega --> O
Greek Kappa --> K
Chinese symbol lower right is for Category --> C

So all first letters from those words are:

NHISPAAWCROKC
This is a anagram for CHIP CAN WORK AS

Now put both anagrams together you will have:CHIP CAN WORK AS CURRENCY

The answer is NFC

*fingers crossed*  Smiley

Sorry, no, that is not the answer.

Not?? hmmm, no hint? Where did I go wrong?

Not providing clues...yet.

I made some progress, I have the second part but didn't find the first one for now. I know what are the chinese letters.
If anyone can help me to find what is this h with underscore (why an underscore?), what's your propositions for y-2 (my guess: "w"), alpha square (my guess: "aa"). I will share some part of the prize (let's say 20 to 50% depending on the help) if I win ;-) PM me.

What are the symbols at the top left and bottom right?

All I can say is that they are Chinese.

If you take the letters (other than the chinese characters), using a^2 as two letter a and y-2 as w, then they rearrange to:

"crack our cypher wins a" the end to that sentence is the answer. So my guess is: "1 iQCash" or "BTC" or "0.02 BTC" depending on if you mean this puzzle or any iQCash puzzle.

Or if I've misinterpreted the sentence and it actually reads "crack our cypher, a wins" then my guess is: "a" -- because that wins.

Sorry, that's incorrect.

Another attempt: Smiley

On periodic table there is a continous route from potassium to silver:

K-Ca-Y-Hf-Ta-W(Y-2)-Re-Os-Ir-Pt-Au-Ag (au-ag is alpha squared)

We dont have a T in the image, so the answer is T.

Edit:

If s in Os does not count i can add scandium (Sc) in the route such as;

K-Ca-Sc-Y-....

Interesting analysis! But heading down the wrong path I'm afraid.

it can't be an alphabet, otherwise it'll be solved after 28 attempts. I can't decipher Chinese caracters...
since the reward increases every week, it 'll be wise to not attempt anything until the fourth week  Cheesy

I imagine some will want to wait until the first minute of the fourth week (starting at 12:00 am UTC), but then will worry that someone else will go early to be sure to snatch the prize. An extra dilemma to consider...

My answer is 'Any'. Like 'Any value'
Or 'X', because 'X' also means 'any value' in mathematics.
