something I would like to investigate more carefully: forging kapu and forging ark are separate process? and, if yes, how does it work?

I don't know... Are you sure they are talking about kapu forging? Have you read it in the whitepaper?

yes, is in the whitepaper. they have 51 delegates that are forging kapu, as the ark itslef. you can find at page 12.

Thank you! I've found it. It looks as it work in the same way. 51 delegates, 2 coin as reward and so on.

This link from the same site explains the DPoS system. You should read to better understand.

This link also answer to your concern about bad whales from the other thread, maybe then we have to link it to the other guys

Yes, voting system is actually clear. Now we should better understand firsts 51 delegates duties.

maybe we should to go there and start as rookies: https://ark.io/  Wink

it's quite better to have all the information available beafore speak about something, but delegates have to set the nodes and secure them, and so oversee, but not verify all the single operation in the world.

"These delegates are then responsible for validating transactions and securing the ARK network."

it can work until the chain is short.

This looks like a very interesting project, and it's in my ICO list.

The first link is very simple and clear. So everyone can be a delegate, if invest the minimum amount, but just the first 51 are rewarded to setup nodes.

it will be a "real" job. you have to secure the nodes and oversee all the system, so have a reward is totally justified.

of course it is. but the other delegates have nothing for their work, even if minor. why someone would like to be a delegate after the firsts 51?

if you have some money invested in the project you should give your contribution to the growth, so you ensure your own investment.

What (to me) is less clear is the duty of the firsts 51 delegates. Ok they forge the arks as the others, but what else they do exactly? It is possible that ust 51 persons are able to oversee everything?
