"Jamie Dimon faces market abuse report after his comments about bitcoin"

http://www.cityam.com/272451/jamie-dimon-faces-market-abuse-report-after-his-comments/amp

"The complaint said Dimon's statement negatively impacted "the cryptocurrency's price and reputation".
It also said Dimon "knew, or ought to have known, that the information he disseminated was false and misleading"."

Dont forget that after his famous speech about the big bad bitcoin, his company started buying bitcoin's a day after. This was a plan to bring the price down by spreading fear.

So lesson is, next time if any of these bankers make a stupid comment that brings the prices down on altcoins, you BUY BUY and BUY even more.
EXACTLY! I always try to buy whenever any "bad news" about bitcoin comes out or whenever there is a fight about how bitcoin should be handled blockchain/update wise. Because I know bitcoin is strong enough to always rebound and anything "bad" that happens to it will just fuel it to grow even greater!

I couldn't agree more, the banksters certainly aren't our friends. Good idea to do the opposite of what they say publicly.

I know our community is security minded. That being said, if you're on Android like most around here, make sure not to use patterns for security.

Wow that's interesting.

I know that people object to fingerprint or face recognition security for privacy reasons.

Where to folks find the sweet spot for security and privacy?

We are still computing the amounts and percentages.
Coins needed for Masternodes have not yet been determined.
Could range from 200-500 coins, topping out at 1k is a slight possibility.
Servicenodes are service dependent and some could be much less.

MikeMike

I am probably going against my interests in running a masternode, but if I were you, I'd go for 1000 coins. That still makes it possible to have a couple hundred masternodes, but you don't have to deal with guys on the cheap who run them from home on their DSL line.

Masternodes should not just be a cornucopia for rent-seekers, but be operated by guys who take the job serious, secure their servers and have somewhat beefy VPS's. Unsecured TOR nodes aren't a good thing.

That said, I am not sure if I could cough up the $5K or what a 1000-coin mn would cost in Dec, so I'd just run a servicenode for a smaller slice of the pie.

I agree with this. 1k seems a little high but it is a nice idea to stop poor quality masternodes

Any ETA on Masternodes? i want to run one.

MikeMike posted the other day that it everything goes perfect the new wallet should be out around the end of October. More likely sometime in November or December though.

Wallet Release:
The Goal and best case is by the end of October.
If we have some "major difficulty" by the end of November.
Worst case is no matter what sometime in December.
We as a last resort do not want to begin the new year without it.
The OP page has been updated with this information.

I'm looking to buy a few thousand Kore. If anyone is interested in selling please send me a PM. Looking to pay with USD, can set up an escrow if needed. (probably bank transfer)

Willing to pay a reasonable premium over the going rate as long as Kore is under $4 at the time of the deal.

The roadmap will be realized.
The new logo is awesome and so will be the ability to market it! But Im biased...
There's more yes, just we are letting little bits out at a time.
Things are happening faster than we would like not having the wallet out yet but
we view these rare opportunities worth while and in line with our end goals.

MikeMike

Awesome, I trust you guys will surprise us a few more times in the years to come. Can't wait for the wallet and other good stuff. Its very seldom that I'm More excited about the product than the investment.
