Korebot was down for a few minutes yesterday, this was due to a wallet malfunction that required me to resync from genesis, I apologize to the few people who attempted to make a rain/soak at that time.

today i had to take korebot down for a few moments to blacklist a user who was sending tons of messages to korebot, i do not know exactly what they were trying to do because they were not sending very many commands in those messages, I will be working on an cooldown timer for korebot so that you can only send a command once every few seconds or it will not respond. after that the user who was blacklisted will again be able to message korebot (you will be able to withdraw the few coins in your account if you wish) If you were actually legitimately testing korebot please message me but for now i have to assume it was malicious. If you are a tester and want to test korebot please message me before hand so that i can allow you through the cooldown for the time you will be testing. I appreciate anybody who wants to test it and if you do find away around the system there are bounties that range between minor bugs to security issues.

New year, new surfing events for the Kore surfing team.

The first qualifier event of the year from WSL is the Florida Pro that happens from Jan 14 - 20 on Sebastian Inlet, Florida.

Silvana Lima the first female athlete in the world to be sponsored by a cryptocurrency will be there to promote Kore and give a great surfing show.



Karol Ribeiro first event of the year will start in Australia and as soon i have more details i will share with the Kore community, the surfing community in Australia likes Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies a lot and they have the Surfers Paradise in Queensland where they have Bitcoin Atm´s and some stores there accepts Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.



We will be setting the Kore booth on the beach on some of those big surfing events to giveaway some freebies and spread the good word about Kore, Bitcoin, privacy and security.

As soon i have the info on the events we will be attending i will share with the community, i hope to see you guys there.

You can near guarantee that all those scam devs with their tons of sock puppet alt accounts have seriously abused the Merit system.
I did research awhile back and found out that some leading coins have bought accounts that have high status.

Bitcointalk adding Merit to accounts while ignoring misuse of the initial trust system from day one was a dumbass idea.

Anyone involved in the Bitcoin community for years with multiple prestigious BCT profiles can wreck legitimate accounts for the lulz or in retaliation from any general butt-hurtness.

Remember alot of these accounts were hacked and sold a couple years ago so there's a pretty good chance that whatever Legendary user you see shit-posting isn't even associated with their profiles reputation.

Good news, today there was a substantial exchange of Kore coins.

I'm happy to see that the market is booming, while Kore's developer team is working on launching new tools.

The purpose for this account will be to create various Language Operations Pages/OP pages
as well as the OP pages for other various KORE Projects.
This is a backup account to be used by various members of the KORE Team/and or ones
that will care for these various responsibilities and have the creds to it.
It will hopefully ensure that no one person has total control nor the potential to lose access to it.
It is also a "kill switch" if anything ever happened to anyone of the KORE Team to ensure
the KORE Projects carry on and meet their objectives.

We hope the Bitcointalk Moderators will allow for its use as it is not designed to hurt or scam anyone
and that they will remove any bogus negative feedback of labelling it a so called, "sock puppet" account.

Personally, I think the Merit System is seriously flawed, prone to "major" abuse,
not in any way made clear to the users nor information of it easily accessible.

Here are some important facts:
1-Your total Merit does not decrease when you send merit to someone.
2-Half the merit sent to you, you can then send to others so keep track of how much merit you have.
3-The total merit that shows near your nic is called merit.
4-The merit you "Send" is called,... S-merit.
5-Your send-able Merit is found in the link at the top right of all posts.

BTC-e exchange shut down.

Lets not forget the many exchanges still in existence that for one reason or another you cant get your coins off the exchange ever!


It is reasonable to note that some suspected fails of PoK could be the extensive process of pulling coins off cold wallets
into the exchanges hot wallets and doing this in small chunks so as not to cause an "opportunity" to arise for hackers.
