Writing just to present additional KRB mining pool at http://krb.sberex.com/

Decided to launch new one for a couple of reasons:
1)   I’m not quite satisfied with existing KRB pools as for GPU mining encountered an issue of work in idle when pool doubles complexity each step. By try and error I think I resolved the issue.
2)   It is often when one pool has more than 51% capacity of the network which may potentially lead to “51% attack”. So more decentralization is needed.
3)   Making a pool is really interesting thing!

Thats it!

Great! Welcome on board! You are in Pool OPs Club by now  Smiley

I added your pool to http://poolpolice.org

Thanks!

Is there a maximum number of coins ?

Is this going to be just a currency for purchasing in Ukraine or something bigger geographically ?

I know it's early days but do the devs have any particular merchants in mind who will accept this coin in the future ? I think I saw a Ukrainian mobile payment service on the website, any more coming ?
Hi. There was 10 milion max coin supply initially but we added tail emission like in Monero so initial supply will increase by ~1% per year of the initial amount after tail emission kicks in, it will happen when reward reaches 1 krb for block.

It is not restricted geographically because it is impossible. The coin just has national flavor and will start to get merchants on board on specific location but global users are very welcomed.

We don't have any particular merchants yet, prior to approach to merchants we need to develop tools for them, the only backend wallet we have is not enough. That's what we plan to do.

why don't add Yobit exchange?

I'm not on the team for this coin, but I'll answer:

I love how people think getting on an exchange is as easy as "hey, put this coin on your exchange!"

Yobit charges bribe money (in the form of "voting" with BTC) to get on their exchange. A lot of exchanges charge in one way or another. Usually between 2 and 10 BTC.

Also, Yobit doesn't take take CryptoNote coins. Less than a dozen exchanges do at this point.

Yes, but it looks like a Yobit pump took SIB from $140,000 cap to > $2,500,000 (Dec-Jan)...
Let's hope such a terrible fate befalls KRB someday  Cheesy

In the footer of site we can see:
© 2016 Кapбoвaнeць.
I suggest to change code to:
Code:
© 2016-echo date('Y'); ?> Кapбoвaнeць.
Thanks, we don't use php there, will have to think off something different Smiley

Update. Forknote syncs to the current height. From scratch it took less than 20 minutes. BTW, after the fork height it synchronizes slower. \
On this - the v2 daemon does not perform any validation for blocks below the last checkpoint. This makes syncing very, very fast. To speed it up more you can add more recent checkpoints
Thanks again, I didn't know, shame on me  Tongue

Looks like Democats stuck at 72903. Due to Bytecoin v2.0.1 code vs v1.0.11?
Daemon got stuck for some reason.
So far I got Bytecoin v2.0.1 code running on 2 networks and none of it forked.
