Does that site have in-broswer mining? Is that even a thing? lol.
I did not found anything suspicious. Anyway, I mentioned that site just to illustrate that idea behind is on demand
You can discuss at monero thread about this site and virus warning. Here it is unlikely that author will appear.
(tl/dr, I am trying to help other people mine your coin):I tend to talk about anything and everything with people on CryptoNote threads. Because things are so new that many people, including devs, are all still learning and innovating as we go. And when I talk to you on a thread, it's not just you and I reading it.
I wasn't really talking about the virus thing for you, I was saying it for any noob reading this thread who might be trying to mine Karbo, gets a virus warning from YAM, and says "fuck this! CryptoNote coins have viruses!" and never comes back. That's how a lot of noobs would deal with it. The virus warnings are really scary. The often delete the program completely. I mentioned this in our website's how-to. But most people never read a whole how-to, because it has everything and they don't need everything.
On the BipCoin thread, anything goes that's remotely related to CryptoNote, because so many noobs mine our coins, because they're still mineable and you can actually make money mining them. Only thing I block is spam and trolls, and anyone posting shit over and over until it takes over the conversation for days.
I also don't discourage anything on my thread that's not spam, or trolling. Because one thing a lot of what people look for when judging a coin is a high comment count on the thread. Any comment is good as long as it's not distracting from the overall mission of getting people mining and buying and selling a coin.
I'm doing something right. My coin is the most profitable CryptoNote to mine most days.
But if you want, I will keep things to a very tight and narrow "on topic" attitude on your thread.
