Hi miners.

Im raising a question about the suprnova pools mining fee.

When i check the block rewards of each round, it doesnt match up to 1%

https://kr.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=tac   Says:
The Pool rewards miners according to a PROP system with 1% fee. The fee may change at any time, but notice will be given before doing so. Any fee change will be communicated through the pools news page.

So i checked a bunch of blocks.
Even tho the miners make up 100% shares of each round, a part of the payout is missing.

https://kr.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=round

Block      Miners paid      FEE?
-----------------------------------  15%
812427      0,2125
812387      0,2125
812380      0,21249999
812202      0,21249999
812017      0,21249999
-----------------------------------  10%
712300      0,225
712100      0,22500001
612100      0,225

Furthermore i see the suprnova pools account balance is abnormally high.

http://explorer.krypton.rocks/?searchFor=8907d558797759e8d979f2d14d2c8506a5b90855
Balance   23,806.759713890 KR

23,8K is 1% fee? Wouldnt that mean that suprnova has mined 2,38M KR of the total 2,8M KR in circulation?
85% of all KR mined?

If its the 10-15% fee, it would make it 238 000 KR which is 8% of all KR mined.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/krypton/    2,878,278 KR
Seems right..... Sad

I see ETC is about 10% fee according to the same info.
But has a 10% bonus right now, which makes it a total of 0%

EXP seems to be 1% Smiley

(I do understand 1% fee is not enough to make a pool profit, so personally i accept 1-5% depending on coin)

Also, what happens to uncles?

Maybe @Ocminer can explain this?
Or atleast fix it or give clear notice to miners what the real fee is.

I hope this will be cleared up, as i have enjoyed suprnova pools myself too.
Always up and working.

Uncles are paid as full blocks - i don't see a reason why miners should get underpaid for a problem that a pool can fix by having good connectivity/connections to other nodes, so you actually get overpaid on some uncles because I take the rest.

Pool wallets are always pretty full/high - you reminded me to pull some coins to my cold wallet though, thanks for that, because many miners (including) me just leave their mined coins on the pool thus using the the pool as a wallet Smiley

The rewards are calculated as they come from the daemon itself - anonymous users of course are not displayed for obvious reasons but i'll double check that the display is correct there. Bonuses/Fees etc come into calculatiions too.

EDIT: frosty actually while digging through the code I found a flaw which really lead to lower payouts than expected, i'm currently searching through the database and will re-credit those missed payments asap, you'll have some pluscoins in your wallets very soon ! Many thanks for investigating !

Wow! Thanks, ocminer! I'm sure KR's miners who have used your Supernova pool will really appreciate that. That's very nice of you. Smiley

New Krypton Mining Pool:
kr.4miners.net

  • 0% fee for until 15 August

  • 0.25 KR Minimum payout threshold. Payouts run every 4 hours.
  • Static difficulty for miners: 2,000 millions.
  • PROP system. When block is found, the reward is distributed among all workers proportionally to how much shares each of them has found.
  • Strong dedicated server with failover and DDoS protection.

Thank you for your warm words. I will support your coin because I think it has great potential. Keep good work guys. Smiley

Some people have been inquiring about Krypton's new Network Stats page and worrying about how few nodes there appear to be in the network so, I'm here to set the record straight.

You may notice a line of yellow text in the middle right of the page. It reads, "This page does not represent the entire state of the Krypton Network - listing a node on this page is a voluntary process."

If you would like to add your node to this list, please visit our website for instructions.

http://krypton.rocks/stats-2/

We at Krypton take pride in being security conscious. For this reason, we don't care to expose our main server's ip by including our running nodes on this Network Stats page.

Rest assured that Krypton is running multiple nodes. There is no reason for alarm because you don't see them listed here.

I've added my pools node too, i've also added Stratum ports a few days ago, if anyone wants a special mining configuration let me know, private ports etc. everything is possible.

Thank you, ocminer, for adding your pool's node to our Network Stats page. Cheesy

I've noticed many more miners on Suprnova now that you've added Stratum too. Nice going.  Wink
