covertress I have some questions I'd like to be answered, and please don't take them as intended to be malicious toward you or KR, they are only for the sake of clarification. You've said that you'll use some ICO funds to travel to BTC conferences to tell people about KR. What I want to know is, what is your selling point? What is it that you are going to promote about KR to get people interested? People knowledgable about crypto are going to immediately ask you what sets KR apart from ETH, and I feel like its a legitimate question.
Good question. Why should anyone choose krypton over ethereum?
From a technical point of view there is not much difference between Ethereum and Krypton except for Krypton being less inflationary.
When Ethereum was promoted in bitcoin conferences it was a promotional sale, basically sell the premine to fund development.
Most of the 18 million dollars and a big chunk of the 12 million foundation coins were spent before Ethereum was even released.
Any Ethereum development that is taking place now will depend entirely on venture capital, and community support.
What Covertress is offering here is not to promote a premine sale, she will promote a product that already exists and is owned by people.
Ethereum in the end is a product and not a currency. So is Krypton. I know the terms angel investors and foundation coins seem more
legit, but trust me in the end what you get is a huge chunk of the premine in the hands of the devs.
When an entity ( Bank/Company/Institution ) decides to invest in a product they will consider what the product can do and will certainly
look at all the alternatives. An android phone can do what an IOS phone do, yet one can not eliminate the other.
Just like developers submit their apps to Apple Store and Google Play, Dapps will have more than one platform to run on.
So there is room in the market for Expanse, Shift and Krypton. A clone being synonymous with bad on bitcointalk does not
mean all clones are created equal. There were a few clones of bitcoin and nothing set them apart from bitcoin but some small
technical differences, yet they were a big success. And yes there were hundreds of clones that were created that went nowhere.
Any entity that sees this will stay as far away from Krypton as possible -
| Distribution: | The initial 10 million KR will be offered as a swap/CFC according to this schedule: - Week one: Release week, no distribution, KR can only be mined. - Week two: 4 Million KR will be offered to be swapped for Gaia at a ratio of 5:1 (5 Gaia for each KR) - Week three: KR will be offered for sale at 6000 SATS per coin in BTC only - Week four: KR will be offered at 8000 SATS or Gaia at a ratio of 8:1 (8 Gaia for each KR) - At the end of week four all remaining KR and swapped Gaia will be burned. - Gaia will remain on exchanges, KR is not intended to end the Gaia chain. - Covertress will manage and promote Krypton. KR will follow an independent development route.

Save some of the money you raise and don't bother going to any conferences because you will have no serious entity interested.
You should just go buy yourself something nice, that would actually be a better use of the money than attending a conference to promote krypton.
