I don't understand. What is going in with Lana ? It's not a bad coin. The Dev is here and the thread active. Yobit has very little buy order and massive sell order. Why ? How does this happen ? Anyone know anything more about it ?
Well, Lanacoin is not a solitary coin out there, there are almost 500+ coins and everyday new ones emerge from the dark depths of crypto sea.
Further on, does Lanacoin offers something unique like no other coins does? Yes / No?
From what your wrote it can be seen that you are only interested for some short term profit and there is an answers to your question. Everyone else does the same and that is way the price stay low.
You must understand that with total cap of 7.5 billion coins that will ever exist, price might never reach very high, if you are only interested in the price criteria.
Lanacoin must start to offer some services/promotions and than and only then you may hope for some price jumps.
But as dev suggested, that will happen in the near future.
Tnx for your great comment. Everything written is 100% true. Everyone must understand that the loooong PoW phaze at LanaCoin is for a reason in fact there are many of them. LanaCoin is a birthday present and i never had any expectations. No false promises to anyone. The only thing i promise from a developers point of view that the blockchain will still be there for your kids, their kids and so on and that part i will deliver and my kids and their kids will pick up when i stand down (if one can even stand down form IT business after 20 plus years).
First one is that i wanted the PoW to last untill Lana is 18years of age or more as the chain will need a governance model operated by a legal entity (lets call it LanaCorp) and untill then i am the governance (except if we get some revolt going on like we see now with BTC but no one has to worry about full blocks at LANA sincer the blocksize is already set to 4MB and the 1MB is not even close to being full).
Second is that i wanted to give as much chance as possbible for anyone new in cryptospace to try out PoW mining at Lana just to get that learning curve going before even trying to go bitcoin or other established coins mining.
The price of 1 LANA is a low as it can be at 1-3 sat. This is nothing for and experinced trader/miner or crypto bag holder as 1000 LANAs is with $0.017. So if i send 10k LANAs to a crypto whale its a laughter as thats $0.17. But if i sent it to someone from a country where the people are strugling at work for a few buck per day/shift i may just put a smile to someones face and that is more valuable then all bitcoins in existance. And this is exaclty what i am doing giving away LANAs i have mined or bought myself with my own har earned money.
As i am generaly a very busy induvidual (i wont go into all the details of my business life, lets just say i keep a lot of peoples digital lifes in order) and i really do my best to reward people for essentially any jobs they do when it comes to LanaCoin, event just a FB page like and address comment will get you a Lanatip.
Why i havent made any official bounty yet? Just ask any coin dev or ico marketing manager what is the hardest part of it. Its 100% keeping the bounty hunters in line happpy, rewarded and marking out the scammers and fake accounters.
So my message to the bounty hunters that may want to get some Lanas. Do something, write an article, make a translation ANN, do some nice banners, remake the ANN so it looks attractive,write a blog post how you see LanaCoin in 10 years from now there are no limits. I have a lot of Lanas to giveawayi have no desire to be Lana millionare. the coins are created for the people and if you listed to the promo video by the ad twins its clear. There will be 1 Lanacoin for every living soudl on the planet but that wont happen on its own.
No one needs permission from me to do that or to build anything on top of the blockchain. The sad fact is that cryptocurrency used to be 100% community driven now everyone is just interested in "when is Polo listing" , "when will price go up" yet no one wants do do anything about it (at least not for free) other than complain and troll (sorry folks thats the naked truth right there).
Hope this post of mine doesnt read too frustrated as its not suppose to i am just trying to point of some facts for everyone and maybe/hopefully bring back the open source/community driven spirit that has faded away in the last two years.
Finishing of with a happy image of the Lana node map from the blockexplorer that clearly shows that there are people aroud the world that have trust in me and my blockchains and understand that what i did with LanaCoin ( personalized blockchain) is today still too futurama but in 10 years from now these kind of projects will be rememberred as pioneers when it comes to personalized blockchains.

The total supply is almost identical to the world population count and i didnt plan that but the corelation is 7.5.2016 Lanas 10th birthday and when i was thinking about the total supply i could go with 7.506 M but when i realised world population is 7.494 B it was just something i couldnt ignore it so it was decided to be 7.506 B.
