Hi @BitKing3000 if your have encrypted your wallet make shure you unlock it for staking. Stake reward is: PoS reward: fixed 1000 LANA + 7% (yearly).

As with PoW (proof of work) PoS is a competition as well. Chances of finding/mining a PoS block are same for everyone. Same goes for people that solo mine. There is no quarantee that one will be the lucky person that mines the block.

You can check network weight and your weight by opening help/debug window and type "getstakinginfo" into the console. Stakers with more LANAs have a better chance of mining a stake blocks but there are other factors like network latency , opened LanaCoin tcp p2p port 7506 on your router.

You will get the following values and info on how competitive you are vs the network.

There may be some changes with the current PoS reward shema in the future but not just yet and there will be a comunity vote on such changes as i have no plan to play a dictator in this project ubt for shure no protocol changes will be made to serve a minority with greedy intentions.

Ps: You should into putting your coins into PoSWallet (check OP for link) and benefit form group staking  but do note that it is a third party service and you are entrusting your LANAs to a third party.

Can anyone help me? I have been staking Lana for over a day and have gotten no coins yet. What am I doing wrong? How many coins do I need to earn additional coins staking? Is there some settings that need to be set to stake?

Hi Ryan its not just about how many coins one is staking. Connection quality is also a factor, opened tcp port 7506 helps as well as you get better connections to the p2p network.

Your stake weight however varies as well as not all LANAs in existance are always staking, maybe check https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lana/#!wallets and see the estimation of coins needed to be in the top spots there for being competitive when it comes to getting the fixed stake block mine rewards.

Or use PoSWallet and benefits from group stake, but do note that in case of third party wallets you "dont hold the keys to your coins" so it does require trust to the provider.

Pos = 7% plus foxed amount of 1000 . How does thst fixed amount work how long does it take to mine a block and how many coins do I need to get a fair chance of finding the block first ? I need to k ow to see how much to invest.

Thats means LANA is hood coin, not only pumping high then dump to get quick money, but continue rising step by step and day by day. Better hold and stake lana in wallet and get much more profit later.

Active Dev, no quick pump and dump. Wallet with active nods. Active work on coin. Given the magnitude of trash Altcoins out there, this is not bad at all. Keep it up Dev.
