is there a fork or some problem with the network? i have been sending small amounts to a friend to try if it works but he did not receive the last few transfers that i did. but it shows as sent from my wallet. help please. thanks

Hi current difficulty is 3,2M and you are comepeting with aprox 1.5 THs currently on the network so solo is not your best choice with 4.2GHs.
I suggest you points your miner to one of the 2 functional community pools http://lana.cryptoday.info/getting_started and http://ypool.ga/lana/index.php that way you will get reward based on your contirbution to the pool efforts.
Hope this clears up things. Mining is essentially competing so you are competing with the 2 pools and miners mining there that are mining with 357 times the mining power of your miner.
I mine on cryptoday, and every second or third day I receive about 500 lanacoin, is it a reward or what?

I hope staysecure does not take offense to this advice but from a financial standpoint he should understand it.
I would honestly point the 4.2 gh toward mining a different coin @ this moment. My reasoning is as follows.
in order for you to get a large portion of the reward you have to have more confirmed shares that the others in the pool and with 4.2gh thats not going to happen. most likely you will run all day long and end up with a few 1000 lana if you are lucky (and not worth the power used to mine it). You are better off mining a higher value coin even @ the same diff with lower reward for higher profit and use that profit to buy lana at market price (very very very low). I know that from a dev standpoint staysecure is probably going to tell me to fuck off but I would seriously suggest just mining something else and investing in lana. Investing in lana thus helping to raise the price and grab the attention of more miners and a larger base of the trading community.
Anyways sorry if this makes no sense. its not to go against the coin, just trying to help 4.2gh in a direction that is not a financial loss if paying for elec and to help the market side of lanacoin

hi dev. i have bought a few cheap lana from yobit and once in a while i am able to stake a little. i wanted to buy more but im afraid of ending up bagholding worthless coins if noone will buy it later even for 1 satoshi. any assurance from you that the coin will continue to be developed? any plans on where and how it could be used later? thanks
Hi sorry for the late response, super busy times. One thing i can promise to everyone. LANA is here to stay regardless of the current and future value of the crypto token.
Future development will be slow and steady but it will never stop. I am a full time sys admin and one thing is without doubts. LanaCoin blockchain will be up and running for all of times.
Please not that i am financing every aspect of the cryptocurrency myself and i never asked for any seedfunds and the project will move forward with baby steps but steady steps.
