I encourage and implore all providers to rate their rigs at a true and accurate speed.   Based on the last 24 hour performance.  IE if your rig is hashing at a straight line of 2.17Mh/s you should rate it 2.15 or less.   Pool Swaps will bring down the 24 Hour a bit.   If your rig has downtime or hash-rate fluctuation you should account for that.

That's nice. Would it be possible to add a "maintenance mode" to take the rig down, but also so that the rig downtime is not counted in the rig downtime percentage?

dear  minner owners bitcoin difficulty change 14.04% and you still keep the price same how we can profit Huh  Angry

Dear customers,

dont mine directly BTC - there are so many alternate currencies you can mine - there are so many with very low diff.

Look for some nice coin you trust in, mine many many coins, than wait a few days, weeks or a month when the price goes up and you can profit 10 times, 100 times more than you spent in BTC.

You know - we are mining BTC directly - it makes us some profit, but people can rent our rigs and mine some other coin. In only BTC we trust, but all the other coins are also so attractive - but most of us dont have time to read this whole forum and find the one with a bright future.

Its the same with scrypt rigs - we mine on multipools with some profit - but you can see a new coin on the market starting today, you rent a rig for a little higher price than multipool can give us and make a fortune in a few days...

When we want to offer you our rigs to rent it must be for a little higher price than we profit from bitcoin itself. Why should we offer them for less? We paid VERY expensive hardware, electricity, aircoinditioning, internet connection...

+1 Well Said!

And also, some pools have promotions, where they give out extra coins, so you might want to take advantage of this opportunity to mine some coins.
We have to maintain the hardware, pay the electricity, fix problems, make sure the rig is running properly...
That's why we have to keep it at this price.

Question to all rig providers: What PSUs are you using for your rigs?

Corsair 1200AX. Long modular cables, enough to hook up 3 300w cards each and powered PCI risers.

Dozens of AX1200's for GPU's.  Years of flawless service at 20-110% load.

IBM server PSU's for gridseeds, antminers, etc.

Can you guys recommend where to get one? Seriously, they're out of stock everywhere.

Got mine on eBay, and at MicroCenter.

Can't beat $95 for a 1000w Gold Cert PSU.

Guys, I found a bug, contacted support, told me that it will be fixed in the next patch.
If you rig goes down and you have notifications enabled, you will get bombarded with emails every minute.
And I mean every single minute.

The short answer is that the price we lease our rigs for is driven by the market... supply and demand. It is driven by leasers like you.

The long story is... We're not going to lease you our rigs for the same or less than we can make on them by mining directly. That would be silly. Rig owners offer a service. We have these rigs sitting here, operating flawlessly, waiting for leasers. We paid for them, built, tuned, support, and monitor them. And we take on the risk of the market dropping out and getting stuck with thousands of dollars of worthless equipment.

Those are things that leasers don't have to do or worry about. There is always a premium that should be considered the "lease fee," and it is driven by the market. The more leasers there are, the higher the premium will be (on top of what we can earn by mining directly).

There are several rigs for lease right now at .009 b/m/d. There are coins that will bring you .007-.01 b/m/d. Mine one of the higher profitability coins, and hold them until there is a bump in the market price. That's how you profit.

Greedy capitalist pigs. How dare they.

really that not funny Smiley

Ok, let's do it seriously, how do you imagine this working? I think it would be like this:

1) let's say all providers suddenly feel charitable and drop their prices
2) all rigs get swept up within minutes by some lucky user(s)
3) you come to this forum to complain that there are no available rigs and you can't profit

What's your scenario?
