Well all right now.
There is a low-energy consuming mining network active to find the pow0reward blocks. That works OK as long as nobody throws large hashes at the mining, which unfortunately seems to have been the case. Once that rate drops, you can get a situation like this, causing a larger gap in between blocks. 0 reward means you get nothing for finding a block. Why someone would throw large hashing in we do not understand. With some patience the problem will solve itself.
Thanks for the explanation, summer vacation is good but only the new wallet is stuck on the 801 block and is not synchronized.
