Litecoin Target price 150/ 200$ short mid term.

It may very well be that litecoin will very secretly rise to 4th place in the top. Ripple will be positioned below.

yeah, ltc is doing great versus btc whereas shitcoins are crashing. i even hear xrp may be trade below 0  Grin
It seems to me that there should be no doubts about Litecoin, since their team works without any sins. And if we take into account the development of Ripple, then their team, by their wrong actions, have achieved a lawsuit from the controlling structures to date. Investors tensed.

Clueless!
I don't know @Searing but for my situation, litecoin become very handy when bitcoin's mempool goes boom.

Yeah, the problem is that Bitcoin Devs drag their feet slowly IMHO. But Litecoin Devs are even worse for getting stuff out the door.

Mimblewimble is an example, you'd think they could do more than one thing at a time. The supposed LTC RPG game Litebringer is quite the 'joke'

download and play it, to see what I mean, it would be more fun as a cardboard cutout game that could do the same thing. Also, I wish they would

do more than one thing at a time..all efforts are in Mimblewimble and that is just one guy..the rest is just noise.

Also, I keep getting emails saying that I can use an LTC blockchain card now from the Litecoin Foundation....despite my repeated attempts to tell them

that the account they say I can use is not activated for me to even add Litecoin on to. Also remember, I'm a moderator on litecointalk.io and

have gotten 'no traction' on this. Gave up after months of trying, like many others I suspect. So I like LTC, I have a significant amount..but they always

seem to just do Bitcoin Core upgrades to Litecoin and can't seem to do more than one project at a time.

I also 'wonder' if Mimblewimble will even be legal in the USA with the new treasury private wallet action with exchanges and the treasury going after Moreno

etc. They could get this done and find out it is not workable in the USA. We will see, but again, if Bitcoin devs are cautious ...Litecoin devs IMHO are just plain

terrified to add significant code outside or bitcoin core patches...i was impressed about Mimblewimble that IMHO took some balls..but slow progress

and again treasury regulations may make that a no-go. We will see. I know zip better minds than me can argue stuff. But I'm still stunned from 3-4 years

ago that Craig Wrights Bitcoin SV (BSV) has been, over time, 2x to 3x the Litecoin price...so I've been confused about how that sh*tcoin and the above

stuff going on with Litecoin for a long, long time. Sad

Market trends likely boost Litecoin even more further so is there any have chance to make entries for short? Whether it happens or not, market is pretty green and that’s a very good thing.
I wouldn't choose short-swing trading this kind of strategy in this situation, i just do one thing that is HOLD, not buying ,not selling, Litecoin is up 13% in the last 24 hours, indeed it is a good sign.
It is hard to short. I think you can think to short around 200$, just my opinion.  What do you use to short?

No! It's still too early to short. I think Litcoin can get closer to ATH if Bitcoin maintains this position or continues to go up. Market sentiment looks good at the moment.

out of the top 10.... this is really bad... BSV in front of LTC.... i'm speechless
let' s see the ranking for a moment:
Bitcoin
ethereum
tether
xripple
bitcoincash
binancecoin
polkadot
chainlink
cardano
bitcoinsv
crypto.com !!!
LITECOIN
in my opinion
tether
xripple
bitcoincash
binancecoin
polkadot
chainlink
cardano
bitcoinsv
crypto.com !!!
they are useless because if I have to move a capital with a centralized and manipulated system I turn to the banks. Not to mention that some can turn out to be chicken traps. I had a very bad experience with crypto.com, bordering on scam
Today:
Btc
Eth
Xrp ( but isn' t a true crypto)
Usdt ( but isn' t a true crypto)
aaaand
LTC!
Now we are serious!!!

So what is going on with the uptick in the price? I mean after years is Litecoin finally yet again acting like Silver to Bitcoin's gold? Looking at

www.coinmarketcap.com of as I type this (see the msg time stamp on this post) of $107.88 and Litecoin up a frigging 44.23% in the last week

compared to Bitcoin being up in comparison only 26.05%, again, as I type this here. Holy Moly..what is going on?

it seems to me like something is going on. They have been talking about Mimblewimble for months, and indeed if the USA implements the need for self-hosting

wallets at a minimum declaring themselves with Know Your Customer (KYC) ..even if it is just for xfer of BTC/Crypto into USD

from within a USA exchange, as an added KYC...that can't be helping the Litecoin price IMHO much under such a likelihood.

Is it that Bitcoin has finally gotten to spendy and newbies and past HODL'ers of Litecoin have come back into the fold? Maybe?

Add to the above PayPal as an option, a newbie could say, man, I could get a lot of Litecoin actual vs the BTC dust for the same USD..and going that way?

I like it, I don't understand it, because as usual, I can't find out any noise on why Litecoin has been pumping.

So for now going with the PayPal angle and known old and new word of mouth of Litecoin acting like the Silver to Gold analogy..at least presently.

But I like to hear 'something' in the way of 'something' gossip wise when a cryptocurrency just takes off..not seeing it here.

So good to see, but anyone got anything? I'm utterly befuddled...the above stuff I mention just does not seem to cut it on the massive price rise.

I am also a fan of Litecoin and I see how many people are worried about its price. Well what can I say? I believe that Litecoin will need to reach its previous peak in price and go higher. The only question is when will it happen? I believe that we are at the beginning of the altseason and should see the rise of top altcoins soon. Perhaps not everyone will get the desired result, but this definitely must happen, since in 2021 we will enter the brutal stage of the next cycle of the crypto market development, which has always resulted in a flight to the moon.
right now should net be worried about the price because its going up day by day and the people who bought under 50$ and still holding. those trader have some serious profit gain.
it could touch 80$ easy if the bull run continue. altcoin session is still not yet started because of BTC bull run but i think BTC price will stay where its right now and positive impact on altcoin is going to happen.

LTC has now more better chance to show rapid growth because the overall sentiments are in favor crypto market. LTC always following the foot step of the big brother and big whales are accumulating at current price so they can push it towards next level. There is high chance to make good profit.
I'm in serious dilemma whether wait for LTC to break or convert into Bitcoin. BTC is about to break ATH so I think it would be a good idea move into BTC so you can get more profit. Overall LTC is not too bad if you consider it for long term then keep on building up your LTC.
i think its not a good idead to convert your LTC in BTC. if BTC cross ATH high value then obviously LTC as an alt coin go up and look at the price of btc you can not earn more profit from btc but from LTC there is huge chances of great profit. one more thing alt always come in second position so wait for btc cross its ATH then bullrun comes for the alt

Well, what do folks on this Litecoin thread think of the coinbase CEO's rumor of BTC/crypto regulations requiring exchanges to know the ins/outs of KYC for not only an account but you prove? somehow

your paper wallet or Trezor or whatever and keep  track of all addresses in/out with KYC? (I assume that is the crux of this stupid supposed regulation? Correct me if that is a few steps beyond what it is really)

indeed..impossible indeed..it would be the same thing as China tried to do more than a few years back and all the China exchanges just picked up and left...then views changed and all came backM

Indeed, I can easily go to an exchange in Canada and use KYC and skip the entirety of the above regulation....I assume this is just another 'burnt earth' policy of dubious regulations

left by the Trump Administration to make things difficult for the incoming Biden Administration and will..if implemented by Trump Administration would be overturned promptly. (knock wood) Smiley

But, indeed, IF such a rule was made...Mimblewimble would be soooooo beyond dead in the water for Litecoin as to be 'undo'able' IMHO even if all the exchanges did leave the USA for

What do you think?

Not a slam, just saying, if it stands, the next shot would be against Mimblewimble and anon coins IMHO. Again, I can't see it working..in that it is a USA law only, but damn I can see it slapping the price

of BTC/Crypto down to sideways or much lower sideways on the next year into 2021 as this is addressed by Biden Administration and threats of US exchanges bailing out of the USA ASAP. Sad

Anyway, thoughts on how you think this all will shake out? I myself would be my own money that Trump Administration, like Coinbase CEO says, will do this rule before Biden Administration takes over.

Likely, with a 'timeline' impossible to do by say Jan 1st, 2021. Sh*t, this will be quite the clusterf**k...I hope I'm dead wrong, but dubious Trump Administration rules seem to be the way of things till

Biden Administration takes over, so I hope not in this case...but with all our success this year, we would be a likely target of such idiocy IMHO. Sad

Again, beat me up, give me some hope, say I'm wrong on my view it will go through and will get fixed by Biden Administration eventually but making 2021 more uncomfortable than it otherwise would

be price/regulation wise. Sad

BTC/Crypto/LTC always drama! Smiley

Brad

centralization is good for you ?

No, but if regulations come along to micromanage exchanges on in/out by address and KYC..what chance does Mimblewimble have to be allowed

by the powers that be? Indeed, I keep expecting a ban on anon blockchains....perhaps I'm too harsh...but...there is always pushback when we

are close to ATH and/or FOMO IMHO by some regulation or govt attempt to centralize stuff...how successful they are is debatable.

Just wool-gathering here, but seems a lot of stuff in play with anonymous blockchain concerns and just about that time every couple of years where

a mess of really stupid crypto controls are attempted by many to be put in place...sure they are likely to be modified and slapped down. But 'supposedly'

these govt studies always think they can control decentralized coins much more than is possible. It is like each attempt they forget everything they

learned that did not work from previous attempts and simply go with the heavy-handed approach of ban or some other silliness.

whatever, I see a new crop of this kinda FUD on the horizon the bigger the FOMO the bigger the FUD from what I've seen in the past.
