why did the founder of ltc dump his shares and does that not look bad on the company?

First,  he is more a developer rather than founder, two different things. Second, wise move from his side. I would also dump @that-price if I had bag which equals to his. More advanced and sofisticated entitities are ready to  take a lead and he had feelings of that.

Imho it's not a good from the trust perespective if the biggest coin holder and founder drops all his belonging at the all time high, looks like planned dump and i'm sure we won't see $300 in a distant future, and most likely never. Right now a lot of assets are dropping in price due to the fact that end of 2017 was over optimistic and looked like a big bubble, now air comes out of it and we are not at the bottom yet.

yeah, the trust might be misplaced after his move and the rounds of LTC are funny since that. Nevertheless I am still holding half of my bag as I see price will go  rather  up than down. But this is a crypto... I realize

you will never see $300+ again.
now its 2 options , going down slow like in 2014
or fast crash with Tether scam for all market

You never can tell friend, LTC is one of the most respected coin in the crypto world, the market is up and down and the market can go high, 300$ will be small to achieve.

Somewhere I saw information, I do not remember where that the fork of this coin is expected soon. Anybody on this occasion knows nothing?

A lot of rumors lately about a posible Litecoin fork, so I did a little research and found this post of Charlie on Twitter: "Since on the topic of scams, any fork of Litecoin, calling itself Litecoin something or other, is a scam IMO. Litecoin Cash, Litecoin Plus, Litecoin *... all scams trying to confuse users into thinking they are Litecoin. This also applies to all Bitcoin forks trying to confuse. " I believe he's clearly enough about this "fork" !

There is always a chance that someone will make a fork of any coin. I haven't however noticed anything worth mentioning being planned. There are about 3 scams per week claiming to be a fork of LTC, but I tend to ignore those.

That being said, there is a SOFT fork of Litecoin planned to reduce the transaction fees. But a soft fork is a non-event. There is no chance for the chain to actually split in two.

Still purchasing empty LTC addresses that were in use on May 12, 2014!

https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/

Hi, can't get it. What is the sense in  buying  empty LTC addresses that were in use on May 12, 2014. What have I missed that time?

https://freebitcoins.com/faq/

TL;DR
"Clamcoin was initially distributed to every Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin address that had non-dust funds on May 12, 2014. Each qualifying BTC, LTC and DOGE address was given 4.60545574 CLAMS free regardless of the address's balance, as long as it was above a "dust" (an amount too small to use) threshold."

Charlie Lee with every day make more hints that the probability of introduction of atomic swaps of Litecoin in pair with a Monero is great. Here's what he wrote in his Twitter:

"Although @fluffypony was kidding here, I think it would be good for Litecoin and Monero (2 of the top non-scam coins 😄) to work together. A while back, I proposed to him that we work on making it easy for people to do on-chain atomic swaps of LTC and XMR in a decentralized way.

I believe this to be a win-win as it makes LTC/XMR interoperable: it gives XMR users access to LTC's liquidity (LTC is on close to all exchanges) and gives LTC users easy access to anonymity and fungibility of Monero.

Of course, it will take some work for atomic swaps to work properly on Monero and it's up to Monero devs and community to decide if this is a good idea.

If this happens, I think it's going to be huge, but no longer an unexpected surprise. 😛
"

And I think everyone will agree that the crypto-community will support this! Thanks to Charlie Lee Litecoin may become the most advanced and popular coin.

I use this coin to make quick payments. It is very convenient and a small commission. But I do not consider this coin for a long investment.

What about merger of litecoin and monero, is it just the rumor?

Really? I follow Charlie Lee on twitter and recently he posted something that Litecoin and Monero are the two legit crypto currencies. I guess this turned out to be the rumour beginning. Are there any other posts?

What is in queue for the Litecoin next, what different changes / improvements are coming?
Funnily, on the website I could not find anything on this subject, but could read at the end of the main page: "Copyright © 2011-2016 Litecoin Project. All rights reserved."  Roll Eyes

Charlie did not dump Litecoin, he is very active on social media platforms, as Twitter, Linkedin and others, and he is still engaged in Litecoin!
