Bitcoin Cash is a big danger to Litecoin. thats because long term holders hold Litecoin as a hedge against Bitcoin. and now Bitcoin Cash is also a hedge. some might disagree but I think BCH will continue to survive and likely even stay above Litecoin on coinmarketcap for a long time. reality is reality, what can you do.
but I also expect Litecoin to survive for years to come.

I wouldnt be surprised if it does. Although I would expect litecoin to stabilize above 40 short term. if it goes further down below 40 then we can see even lower prices then 35. even as low as 25 wouldnt shock me. and I do hold some litecoin. a lot will depend on btc now.

hopefully this is the last leg of the correction...BTC is only down to 3700... we've been here before.....do not expect any resistance until at least 2900-3100.. that's another 600-800$ drop so we should be expecting LTC down to low 40's if not low 30's if BTC drops to the foreshadowed mean line 2300$..!!

It's very possible though! It would be easier for litecoins market cap to double before eth's as its much smaller right now. Also, there will only be 84 million Ltc so it's deflationary. Just keep holding.

not sure how I feel about this....but the fact that the highs have been getting lower and lower...and the lows have been getting lower and lower... and we have tested support around 50-50.5 twice now......not sure if the support will hold for the rest of the night....

so I watched the charts for a few hours tonight...bought in around $49.10 expecting it to crank back up to $49.30 (it had done it a few times). Now we're down at $48.50...
I'm not upset and I don't think I'm missing out (I sold the coins at $53 to buy those ones cheaper) but it messes with the mind a little bit.
