What do? Pshhh..
Research for hours, understand the goal for Litecoin, understand how recent news is complimenting the goal, sit back, relax, HODL,
don't sell when you're up unless you're trading, otherwise you'll just end up buying back in later.
HODL more, buy more, keep updated with the news

I bought it at 58 62 and 83 the past 2 days
Prior to that my buy-ins were 18 22 and 45
Buy while it's in the 80 range yes
Look at the charts
LTC is one of the most stable cryptos
It already touched 93 earlier today
LTC moves in stair steps upward
Slight correction
I expect it may dip to 84
But it doesn't matter
Long term it will go up
Scoop it up in double digit territory while it's still at this price point
Doesn't matter even if you buy at 83 and it dips to 77
It's a temporal thing lol

What would be the main reason of the rise of Litecoin?

Litecoin goes to the moon!: http://imgur.com/EBj9jfg

I've heard S. Korea is the reason LTC is rising. Is that right?

I've been seeing people say things such as "use bitcoin for larger transactions and litecoin for smaller transactions" (due to the fee's)

But at that point, why would one still use bitcoin at all

Larger transactions are still cheaper on Litecoin compared to bitcoin, yet at the same time, bitcoin is thriving right now despite the high fee's

(I'm not trying to shit on Bitcoin here, this is a serious question)

Well, Bitcoin's price increased considerably and Litecoin's price is always closely tied to it.

I bought mine in April I think at 25.00 so 70.00 by august  seem like pretty good RISE, I bought ETH just before LTC and it shoot to 400.00 then crashed to 100.00 . Between the two of them LTC looks a hell of a lot better to a "main Stream" investor. Plus ETH about to be pulled into a world of kaka by the ICO stuff that's coming from the SEC.

This is all great, don't get me wrong. I'm long LTC for sure. But I'm really wondering why LTC can't do anything by itself. It's becoming more and more of a BTC copycat. The volume sucks, and you can't actually do anything with it. So I see all of your points and think they are great, but I'm worried that if something doesn't change relatively fast, this currency will not be swept up into the kind of adoption that I see for ETH and BTC. And I'm not hoping for massive gains quickly, that's not why I bought litecoin. I'm hoping for it to behave differently than BTC, similar to what ETH has started to do.

I'm holding onto my LTC. But if I'm honest, a lot of that reasoning lies in me believing that bitcoin will go up and we will follow it. I just wish we had price action of our own, it would demonstrate different perspectives are held for LTC..
