Is there any more news on the Roadmap & Development for Litecoin ?

Maybe it's the news of an actual roadmap that has been put into place for Litecoin & the fact that better energy efficient Scrypt ASIC's will be coming to market.

Who knows really.

I have a feeling about Litecoin, I'm not sure if it is good or bad I just feel there is something to come.

New Scrypt ASIC Hardware Chips will be hitting the markets as well that are even more energy efficient from the last set so anything can happen pretty much.

Glad my ltc buy order have been filled I am pretty sure prices will rise above 0.01btc again

With all going on in CryptoNick it's nice to see LTC is still holing strong.

Commercial ASIC hardware is the leprechauns pot of gold, when they become outdated with the public new even better ones have already been out for a while just not released publicly yet and the phase will just keep on going.

It is a great way to make money an I don't see them stopping production any time soon.

Well, it will recover by the time of next Block Halving, but Innoscillion has announced they are working on new generation Scrypt ASIC miner.

Basically, the engineers are doing small batches of prototype productions, which are better than the old generation of Scrypt ASIC miners.

They then, dump the LTC to pay for the next batch of improved chips and so on, until they have something they can sell as superior commerical ASIC Hardware to what is currently being used.

As you can tell, the price of LTC has dropped by 25% recently.

The new Innoscillion ASIC hardware is slated for release in September 2016 and LTC price this year will be marginally downwards, from the 25% drop seen already.

However, beyond this new ASIC hardware release this year: 2018 and 2019 the price will head upwards as the Block Halving comes into focus.

The Scrypt algorithm was designed to be ASIC resistant, unlike the SHA algorithm.

And, the reports are: the new Innoscillion ASIC hardware offers only 2.6X improvement over 2014's top ASIC hardware.

Therefore, the ASIC resistance design in non-SHA algorithms do have long-term disruptive effects on engineers scope for offering improvements on next gen hardware.

People will notice: the A2 was 28nm and new miner's improved performance appears to comes, mostly, from smaller size of 14nm.

i hold some litecoins and this coin is like the most boring coin lol i bought at 3 dollars and it only went up 1 dollar
