and also use litecoin wallet 32 bit - version 0.10.4.0

i must remind i changed default directory for wallet and database folder but recently i get this error and i cant update my wallet .

any recommendation ? plz help . thank you .

Open up your data directory. This by default is located in C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Bitcoin
Then copy the contents of the debug.log file as a reply on this thread, that should help me to find out what the problem is.

Has anybody else been paying attention to Litecoin Hashrate distribution? Within a couple weeks BW.com has gone from nothing to controlling the majority hashrate on the network. You would think if a major player was bringing new hardware online the difficulty would spike...but its basically stayed the same and maybe even gone down slightly. Any body know what's been going on?

Yay!  Thanks losh11.  I just found an earlier post by you about the development plans detailed at the AMA at https://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/3z2ta1/ama_official_litecoin_developers_and_litecoin/  including plans for experimenting with anonymity features. Very exciting times.

Does anyone have a rough estimate of when the Litecointalk forums will be back?  I don't post there much but like to read the latest threads and news quite a lot.

Expect 1-2 weeks, if not sooner. That's my guess.

i wanna buy some coins , PM

If no one PM you to make an offer your last option is to buy it on an exchange.

Of course you can buy as much as you want.  Cheesy

This would be my recommendation as well until you get a decent enough reputation on the Bitcointalk Forums.

This may be of interest -

Maybe we should start listing other coins that have this on bittrex to compound the evidence against Paul more. This guy just digs deeper holes.

The court conservator would really appreciate this information for other coins stuck on Cryptsy.  He asked me if there were "more people" like me, but I had to admit I am basically UNO centric, and that many of the other coins on Cryptsy are not as well supported as UNO in terms of community interest, block explorers, with obsessive compulsive block chain sleuths, etc.

I would encourage other altcoin communities with coins on Cryptsy to identify their cold storage wallets and watch them extremely closely for any movement. We were lucky with UNO yesterday, but the community made that luck. We have literally been watching that wallet daily for 90+ days. We don't have a Chinese exchange for UNO, so that was also a fortunate fact. Our deepest market, Bittrex, is in the USA. These things all came together yesterday to help us protect 15K UNO from theft.

Btw,
IMZ just sent this interesting article about Paul Vernon and Bitebi9 exchange. http://coinjournal.net/cryptsy-paul-vernon-exchange-china/

Sorry, not taking Advice from a 1 post Newbie. Litecoin is one of the best ways to make payments and transfer money at the moment, particularly considering Bitcoin's blockchain size problems. Downward risk is small - upward potential is huge.  It's a buy for me.

Bitcoin Talks Bullshit Walks
litecointalk down? haven't checked in a while...

The Litecoin Association believes that the LitecoinTalk forums may have been compromised.
All passwords were hashed, but we highly recommend that you reset you passwords for other sites if you reused the same password elsewhere.

Currently everything has been moved over to archive.litecointalk.org for now in read-only mode.
We hope to use new forum software and start from scratch soon.

Hopefully by the Feds;)Wink It was a scammers haven ffs  maybe now we can find out who the real beekeeper was!

Looks to me the admins took the money and ran.. Still have gut feeling they were beekeeper.. Ohh well entitled to my opinion! Its no wonder they never put ltcgear into the scam section waY back when..

EDIT  and poor searing.. got took by "hackers" what a fucking joke.. you guys of that forum.. All fucking scammers! https://archive.litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=29077.msg297576#new

Litecoin will always be the Lite version of Bitcoin !

Hold it and wait !

Litecoin is not like that. You should not hold them much longer or you will be losing their value with time.

Yes it is still volatile and there is lot more struggles to come.

A few questions here from a long time  hobbyist/miner:

- Any plans on updating the wallet to give it a more "updated" look?
- Any plans on scaling, just because "we" can?

Network is working great for years, well done.

We may update the UI for Core.
Also we are planning to release a roadmap for an adaptive-like max block size scaling solution later this year. This was announced in the Litecoin Developers and Association AMA 2016 - here's a link: https://m.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/3z2ta1/ama_official_litecoin_developers_and_litecoin/
