Is this launched?
Their issue isn't about obtaining and building binaries, but about continuing development of the code to accommodate new hardware as it comes out, or cgminer isn't going to run efficiently on it.

If you're using Windows, someone posted a link to binaries on the first page and they are included in the OP. If you are using *nix, there are a lot of guides on how to build, and you might get help in the thread. There is also the possibility that some distro is packaging it, which is what the programmer thinks should be happening. I'm not a miner, so I can't really help you, but I'm not a programmer, and I've built lots of things on Fedora, including from github with help in threads and web searches.edit: which you would have known had you given their posts a proper read before replying.

I respectfully disagree... most of my rigs still use 2.10.5 cgminer... where the newer rigs are using 3.7.2.

Me too , all my rigs use cgminer and have done for the last 12 months and Ive never had an issue with it, if it aint broke, dont fix it!.

thanks for posting that. So great to see the man behind Litecoin and hear the story.
I collect silver and love the analogy between crypto-coins and precious metals
I also now collect Litecoin, as it seems Bitcoin has got away from me.
My mining is pretty slow and wont be economic on current values but I believe its an investment in the future and like my silver collection I rarely sell, but simply accumulate.
