From what I understand, it will be a side-chain, to allow LTC users the opt-in ability to send their coins in a totally private manner utilising the mimblewimble protocol.
So yeah, collaboration will happen, but forget the 'why not grin' comment, it's won't be Beam and it won't be Grin, it will still be LTC.

Does the above mean that 'mimblewimble' in some manner IS being placed/considered on Litecoin. Or is this just rumor yet?

Well possible in crypto world, you are right LTC could reach above $100 if Bitcoin rise above $10k.
Litcoin Working with Beamprivacy for mimblewimble on litecoin, i think after this price will move to upside.
Tough competition between Litecoin and Dash, hope so LTC will surpass Dash. 

Privacy is a hot trend of 2019 after so many terrible hacks lasted from 2017 to 2018, and early days of 2019.
Litecoin, has switched its focus development targets to Privacy.
DASH is another one.
It is really interesting to see which ones between Litecoin and DASH will get more successful things in privacy.

It's not easy to get $ 100 back, need better tips and more innovation. We wait for the next few months, the possibility will be able to achieve that value, all still need a process and continue to be creative in order to strengthen values and community.

Trading in a pair of HATCH/LTC.

It is not a easy task, in my opinion.
Litecoin will hit $100 only when bitcoin reach nearly $10.000 and Litecoin made its developments in privacy very well.
Litecoin can compete with Dash in this area, and if Litecoin can surpass DASH, great things to come, definitely.

100 $ is an easy target for litecoin but needs some attention of investors already prices of crypto is going down another bearish situation is a happening in the market. litecoin is performing good and stable at 33$ price.

LTC at 340 is overpriced, at 34 is underpriced, all the way to 66.65 LTC is underpriced imo, but it can go down to 5 if bit goes to 666 buks

i think Ltc/BTC is increase but the btc price down so LTC price down ,too .

Again crypto market going down badly and bleeding but support line of LTC is $30 and right now standing around $32.
We are already in feb 2019 but there is no sign of bull run or at least crypto should rise slowly but steadily.

the only way that IMHO Litecoin (LTC) will break out of the pack of altcoins and go up is if it adds some kind of mimblewimble or anonymous feature

it could be something as simple as like in DASH a private transaction method within the LTC wallet...and all else remaining the same...

I doubt it will be done in any manner...and even if done it is not like Charlie Lee adds features that are not tied to BTC (but once every 3 years or so maybe)

but something drastic needs to happen with LTC, again IMHO...in that as far as I'm told by 'newbies' to crypto....they consider any flavor of Bitcoin Cash

be it BCH or BSV ..the 'silver' to BTC gold...mainly due to trading and speculation

charlie sold it cuz he knew litecoin has no real use case it can show up on exchanges but what u gonna do with that?  when only the top 3 bitcoin , ethereum and xrp is what we need those 3 makes sense rest are just pulling scams and trying their best to fit into exchangers..
i can even bet you he wont buy back cuz he knows he cant take ltc back to 400 usd anymore he has no spine
i dont doubt some other crypto which solves the real world issues to be back to ATH but litecoin will never be ATH people need to stop the greed and focus on real cryptos.

On what basis you are telling that the price of lite coin will increase, if you can change the market situation by changing the logo each and every coin suffering in the marker will change their logo to see a price  increase   I don't see any rally in lite coin alone but it will recover when the market recovers.

litecoin have some good news update new logo and always update new wallet .
