sigh, did anyone manage to actually mine some coins at lower difficulties?
I went with the 'official' best pool - lmc.altcoinpool - as the launch was at 5AM my time.
How many coins do I have?

I was able to mine. You have to setup backup pools. Most were down but stablecoin was up. Stablecoin is down again but their email server works so change your account settings while you can. Not stable but at least they work unlike most other pools.

Put the --no - submit - stale command in your cgminer script and you should stop getting banned from stratum server. One of my rigs is connected, two are not responding and one gets "Workers are temporarily banned"....
