you guys trying to solo mine are probably gunna get orphaned, luckycoinpool.com is 70% of network hash rate now

there might be 1 other active pool but I don't know which

http://lky.scryptmining.com/ is still up and running.  Currently ~4Mh/s of the 30Mh/s global rate  Undecided

you would need to point it to 127.0.0.1:rpcport and input the username and password used in your .conf file

a example say for my cuda is :
cudaminer -o http://127.0.0.1:42001 -u username -p x

so really the setup is the same as you would for the p2p pool... cept of course you change the ip to your localhost and stuff.

O and make sure you launch your wallet in server mode.

I usually make another .bat file and launch the wallet that way. I think the server=1 in the .conf file makes it so you dont have to do the extra .bat... but I do anyways.

example is :

replacewithwalletname-qt.exe -server

and you save it as a .bat in the folder with whatever -qt file you want to use

It was only the wind.
I'm mainly mining this one to learn the ins and outs of mining. If it becomes valuable beyond knowledge gained, cool. If not, I'm having fun and learning new things. I figure with a name like Lucky Coin, it's gotta be mainly for fun anyway. Right? right.

Wrong. People who dump for next to nothing should be rounded up and shot.

Probably. OTOH, bullets ain't cheap anymore. Perhaps a rope?

Slow, and doesn't scale to large amounts of people well. Poison gas?

Chainsaw and a video camera. For the encouragement of others  Cool

Good idea. This works.

so can i still solo luckycoins?

or does the coin just die after 5 or 6 days and thats it? what a jip. i worked hard to get these 370 coins with my little laptop.

You can solo mine it, might make a few bucks. Even LTC is losing value because it was over valued itself.

Because this coin is gimmicky and worthless. Supply and demand, people. Take a basic economics course before you cry about "dumping". Holding onto coins doesn't make them any more valuable if there's no buyers.

Then why was this mined for weeks with a lot of hash? Come hazzard you know better. It was a classic dump.

ok so people are dumping these for next to nothing, so the pools close?
why is that?

not much interest anymore. Not enough hash power to go around.

Anarchy is not chaos.
Wrong. People who dump for next to nothing should be rounded up and shot.
O_o

so you think forcing someone not to give his price to something he owns is fine?

you think keeping an inflated official price is fine?

welcome to Argentina.
Were people are using Bitcoins to get rid of regulations like yours.

Can't speak for wolf0, but since I was involved in that little exchange, I wish to make it clear I was just having a bit of fun. People can sell their shit at any price that seems reasonable to them.

Personally, I think that these little coins are likely to flare up and die in short order. I like this one, and will not in any way deliberately sabotage it, but let's face it: It has no IMMEDIATE value. It might at some point, or it might not.

As for using bitcoin to bypass or bring down regulation, in that you have my FULL support. I'm an anarchist, and I despise regulators. They have no purpose except to fuck up the works of commerce to their gain and the actual producer's loss. Besides that, if it works in Argentina, it at least has a shot at working here in the Empire.

by the way, if you think they are selling too low, why don't you buy?

put your money were your mouth is, or STFU.
