Why is everyone being so negative about this coin? Fair enough if there was something stupid about it or if it was just another clonecoin, but i saw a decent amount of innovation in the quick difficulty adjustments based on network hash rates - am i the only one that read that in the OP? Depending on more information and how exactly it works - the good thing about it is that it would stop certain people with massive hash rates from dominating the early few hours of the coin. Meaning there would be much less of a pre-mine effect - am i wrong here?
Copying idea's from other coins, like DGC and WDC, hardly counts as inovation. Yay, he carbon copied LTC, made the block rewards higher, and the diff adjusts.
To answer you question, who do you think feels a higher diff first? The 200 KH/sec miner, or the 3500 KH/sec miner?
Ok. I'll actually bite and not treat you like a troll for once.
1. In my post i specifically said there was a decent amount of innovation in the quick early difficulty adjustments - i never said there was anything else particularly special about this coin.
2. I dont see how the OP copied anything from DGC or WDC - please fill me in on what im missing here. If we want to say that he copied LTC, then fine. That's not a problem since almost every new coin is an adjustment based on LTC.
3. Who do i think feels a higher diff first - a 200KH/s or 3.5MH/s miner? Neither. You're missing a few extra factors which play a massive role in the release of new coins - latency and network congestion. When the difficulty of coins is extremely low, people get massive amounts of rejections from the network as well as orphans. What is the cure for this? Higher difficulty. Why do you think so many coin creators lately have desperately been trying new things out with difficulty adjustments and even trying to mine the genesis at 1.0 difficulty? This is a commonly known problem.
