The multipool guys asked yesterday for help configuring their stratum - about 12h later the dumping starts - so its clearly a multipool "issue".

Hard to say, but X15 is unforunately already raped by MP's...

To the block value issue .. If people would simply switch to the pools paying the correct block reward, 5 coins more, i'm sure dedicated would fix their daemon really soon - but as noone is caring about that and keep jumping onto them - why should they change something ?

you'll see that for example block 13534 ( http://maia.blockexplorer.cc/block/5125a4fd301b4e00613ff3ddac3e9a859252c52c6e88a90c735638c5ad025481 ) is PoS, and you can't have both PoS and PoW rewards in the same block. But this block (and many others) are still counted as a part of "PoW period", where PoW reward is possible
