Mining contest format is a little different now. Rewards are now based on highest AVERAGE HASHRATE during the contest period, rather than just "whoever is highest when I happen to check"
This weekend's contest will run from Feb 6 05:00pm CST (NOW) until Sunday Feb 8 11:59pm CST
Rewards are:
5 MMXIV for the highest average SHA-256 hashrate
5 MMXIV for the highest average Scrypt hashrate
5 MMXIV for the highest average X11 hashrate
TOTAL: 15 MMXIV
At current BTC/MMXIV price, this reward is worth around 0.05 BTC for each algo, in addition to what you already earn just for mining at the pool. Think about what kind of mining rig you could rent for less than this

Good to see both MMXIV and 10k on the front page of Bittrex for the third day in a row
Is this why mmxiv is getting dumped so peeps are buying 10k now? What do you advise for me to do? Hold my mmxiv or sell at 50% loss and do 10k? Or just hold both now? is 10k for sale on trex?

i have more and hold it i'm waiting rate stabil in 0.02 and sell some MMXIV and hold again more
i bought 2 days ago at 22k sat and had also 17 from before form long time.. I sent a bit now to trex to buy a bit of 10k also to stake but i need 10k wallet as well..

just an update my 10k wallet and mmxiv wallet are working great, staking perfectly, coins matured and all, thanks for all your help, and also dont worry about the dump, its a proven coin with a good record and im sure will be around for a long long time people just want to free up some BTC for 10k thats all, it is a good time to buy though thats for sure
Agreed. Just a small hiccup during wealth redistribution. Nothing wrong with coins changing hands and shaking up the market; keeps it interesting!

Hey so quick question I moved my coins to a new address in my wallet yesterday (same wallet ) and it says no mature coins , is it 24 hours or how long till staking starts ?
24 hours
I moved coins to wallet on 2nd, said mature coins yesterday but still says one day to stake so now 2 days and not staked any..I got 40 in there, what shall I do? Also why everyone dumping the coins so low when I just went and bought? Can't you all hold a coin for a few weeks gimme a chance to make some babies lol? OMG

Thank you, this is cool.. btw I just staked and it's gone grey again does that mean I need to wait 2-3 more days before I stake again? I want to grow them.. Wallet is unlocked as well.
