barbarass has brought some good points but personally I'm against huge giveaway. May be 5-10 coins per person should be enough. People are more inclined to sell their coins for anything when it's free.

May be buy all the coins in exchange and set up a buy wall at 0.01 so people will be forced to move up their sell orders.

Just thought I'd mention that when I was using the old Mangocoinz app while the new Mangocoinz update was out it still worked, it was so much easier to mine then I proceeded to downloaded the new wallet and synced up & 20 of my MCZ were synced that I just mined with the previous version.

So technically if you were/are still running the original versions of Mangocoinz and kept shaking with the lowest difficulty then synced up you would have a ton of coins, because the limit didn't apply to the transfer as the version I was using was a 10coin limit sync cutoff and I earned 20coins that same day then synced up to the new version and there was a no sync limit *bug* There and behold my 20 Mangocoinz were ready for transfer.

Because apparently your limit now is 7MCZ and sync doesn't accumulate the ones you earn until the next day am I not correct ?

The above ^ states how easily you can earn many MCZ coins with multiple phones with older app versions, there might even be previous versions of the Mangcoinz app for your android lurking around on the web.

It's all to be considered regarding the way the Currency works itself.

EDIT: Also I have noticed that when I mine when my phone is locked it earns very little but once I turned the screen inactivity to turn off after 10 mins and shook it I was earning coins a lot quicker amazingly...

And, for several reasons, this project should target the fitness/exercise demographic more directly,while establishing clearly that it is indeed an alternative currency nthat you would be able to use to buy anything, not just mangoes.

I think the name is good as it is now,it can become brand,like btc,its cool,more people are coming everyday,and recognize mcz as new and uniqe.

Excellent work getting on the second exchange, I can really recommend using Atomic.  It is a well designed and secure exchange, 1 year old now, very secure, no mysterymen behind it and full liquidity with a proof of reserves page that automatically updates.
After mintpal/coinex/altbuddy/btcltc/mtgox etc its exchanges like this are going the extra mile to prove themselves secure and honest. Excellent level of support towards users there and of course fee are some of the lowest

I am not against a rebranding, for sure, but I am personally not against the name Mangocoinz.  There are plenty of successful brands that have names that seem disassociated from their product.  That said, a rebrand could lend itself to being a good way of getting attention to the coin in terms of attention - make it a contest with MCZ being a reward for first, second, and third places decided by a vote (controlled in some way to prevent manipulation).

Koinetics was/is kind of a clever name by the way...I'm not dedicated to aversion because of the Koinify similarity...

Oh never heard of koinify but I think its different enough to not be a problem.

I'm not sure if they are actually rebranding but it seems like it from the last few posts. Also clams is slang for money so the name isn't as ridiculous as it might seem.

Is it official that the name is being changed?  I would to like to hear back from the dev and hear how he feels about it.  I think MangoCoinz is fine (Clams made it and is named as a general reference but still sounds ridiculous) and don't want to step on toes regarding a name change...

If you're rebranding, what about the name "Koinetic"? Like "kinetics" (the study of motion and its causes) + "coin". It sums up how the coin works in one made up word. I don't know, I kind of like it.

Everyone gets 10 friends and family members, MINIMUM, to download and use Mangocoinz. Please tell them the name will be changed but the opportunity to mine will remain. Be all aware that there are less than 17 million coins total to mine, supply that is going to last very little. After that, hopefully, it will somehow go to a very profitable initial phase of PoS (all of this will have to be developed and developed pretty quickly).

Let's get at least 1,000 more downloads by this time next week!
