Hello everybody!
The difficulty will not be decreased, it will only get even harder in the future.
Regarding the ridiculously low price on usecryptos.com, we don't know if there is anything that can be done. People sell their MCZ for almost nothing. I don't see how it pays out for them.
If this doesn't stop any time soon, if the price doesn't go up or at least stabilize, we will be forced to take measures and start interfering in the entire trade of MangoCoinz.
Best regards, Svonione from MangoCoinz.
Several things:
1st, I believe Srele is doing a very good job communicating what you guys are doing. He -and only him- should be the community manager with you other two intervening in forums sucvh as this as less as possible. "Ominous" is just a way to describe your post. HARMFUL would perhaps be more appropriate.
2.- There have been a few very good ideas already volunteered. I am going to disagree, in general, with two, while enthusiastically support most of the others. The two I have problems with are the targeting of young kinds. That's an easy demographic that should be targeted much later when the coin is more established, not now. Reason? They don't have any money and they will sell whatever coins they can get for free as soon as they can. price will continue suffering. IT is a very needed demographic but, like I said, for later, once Mango is more established and subject to laws of a bigger market, not now. Women, on the other hand, is quite different. They should be pursued. And the best way to get their attention is through the fitness idea that several posters have volunteered.
The other suggestion I am against is the games. Not at this time anyway. You have several major concerns that require maximum dedication: First is the wallet for IOS and other OSs. This is rather urgent and I know you are on the roll with it. Maximum dedication. Close following, the matters of security already pointed out by another poster, about the MITM issue and his other concerns. All of these aspects are, once again,
very urgent and require your full concentration, not distractions about the price or any other programming/coding adventure.3.- The video should be done much more professionally. It is refreshing to see you guys seemingly playing around but your English is not too good and your demeanor excessively juvenile. Something with similar content, in general, but executed much more professionally, should be done instead as soon as possible.
4.- You need a Roadmap. With real targets and approximate timelines when possible.
5.- Your Future Plans in the OP state that you want
"as many developers integrating MangoCoinz into their system. These include online services, mobile and online games etc. This is achieved with our easy to use API that is already in place." This is quite absurd on several levels. Number one, why would you? What would be the gains for Mangocoinz? Number two, it goes counter to your desire of having the code closed -which I understand and support for it is the only value of the application/coin-. So let's get this straight and out of there: You DO NOT want any other coin to have any of what Mangocoinz has. And that's why you don't want to make public the code. Not now, not in the long future -until MangoCoinz is sufficiently established to not have to worry if anyone else simply copy/paste it.
Now, I also have a relative problem with the idea of the giveaway in the troll box of polo or Crypsty or Bittrex. You should NOT target Crypto people. Believe me, most of them are already aware of Mango's existence and if they are not in it is because they don't believe you stand a chance. Insisting more is a waste of time and resources. You want to do giveaways? Use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, What's up, etc. But mostly, go for what should be one of your main demographics: Women and fitness. There are a myriad of companies and products that would welcome freebies such as Mangocoing. But, first of all, you have to solve a very basic problem: You will be perceived as somebody selling Mangoes, the fruit. This is unfortunate because Go MAN is almost perfect (perfect would be if it integrates men AND women. So think about it and don't be fearful of rebranding. You are at very early stages and a name and a logo will indeed go a very long way in your path to the success of this project. But name and logo left aside, like I was saying, Fitness products and related healthy lifestyle ones should be your main target. And that is completely outside of cryto. From smartwatches to Nike shoes, from Whole Foods to Gold's Gym and all the gym chains in the world, from Nutrisystem to Lean Cusine to Herbalife... the list is just enormous. Tackle them one at a time, in batches. Contact them. Ask the to integrate in their promotions a small donation free to those customers who download the application... THAT is your demographics. It will be an explosion. THEN the crypto vultures will pay attention. And you will be the first altcoin that will surpass, by far, the usage of all cryptos, BTC included, in the real world. The possibilities are limitless, really. But there's a lot of work tyo be done. You must do it or motivate the community to do it along you. If the work is done, I can guarantee you that this ship will take off like a rocket... in due time. In the time that you need, anyway, to solve all those other problems mentioned before... on of which, last but most definitely not least, is answering the question what happens when all of the 16+ millions coins are mined? Then what happens to Mango (or whatever else you decide to call it, please call it something different, the entire future of the coin may depend on it)?
Anyway, that's my contribution. This project is quite unique, way simpler than any other and therefore, way more accessible to people that have never even heard of Bitcoin. They all have motives and encouragement enough to jump in. They all have the means (phones) and they all will jump, massively, on this project, very quickly consuming the coins to be mined. So get to it ASAP, ok?
Oh wait, there are a couple of problems that you know the answers much better than me: Coins. You need a LOT of coins to give away.
A LOT. And although I assume than you three guys have quite a few of them already, I believe most of those should remain yours for you, as the generators of this project, deserve to reap the benefits and be rich because of it, not just the idea but, above all, the execution. So how do you get the rest? There's only one answer: The community. If the community doesn't donate, nothing of this is possible. So establish immediately a Promotional Fund to which you guys and everyone else in the community donate at least 10% of what everyone has. At this juncture, that a measly 15,000 coins. That's too few by any measure. 20%? Try to get it. Why not establish a target of 25,000 coins and see how it goes? Still minimal for what I have proposed but a first step nevertheless. Everyone will understand when you give away something with real value, the reserves have to be limited so instead of participating in 10 promotions at once, get the two best candidates that you can get -or even just one, making it exclusive- and go for nit. After that, time to evaluate and, again, hit the community. Believe me, if the first "experiment" is successful, it will have an immediate reflection in the price and people will be quite favorable to donate more for future, even more valuable promotional campaigns... and companies and services will "pick up the phone" if not contact you themselves, once the first one is over and successful.
So there go your assignments. You need a lot of help and that is always the main problem. Do your best. Ask for the rest. Good luck.
