I was fed up with MEC's price stability while I saw the coming ANC rise that's all. But seriously stop posting those gifs here and shamelessly promoting it (not you ethought). Let it speak for itself...

By the way, I am not familiar with mining but a quick question: Is merged mining in scrypt coins possible?
I am interested in setting up aan ANC+MEC pool in Europe if so..

PS: MEC will go good with or without me I am sure, his developer is great but I think it is better to mine MEC with it's gravity thing and buy ANC who show better dynamics atm imho. WizzardTim does the opposite

EDIT: WizzardTim is a close friend - at around 0.0006 he wanted to buy big and I knew it. Go figure...
Funny thing is that even with that info I am not willing to spend more than 0.0006 for this. Too risky...

I feel a strong storm brewing with MEC. I see more and more buzz about it every day. It's only a matter of time before we attract more and more investors. There is no reason considering the fundamentals why this coin should not have a market cap of at least $1 million considering the rest of the altcoin market. A $250k market cap means this coin is still SEVERELY undervalued. I'm buying any chance I can get at these prices.

Somebody is picking off MEC sells above 0.0001.

I felt lucky to be able to fish in the 0.00008 range today.  Sheesh.

data from coinchoose sorted by network difficulty.... many of the script coins have very volatile difficulties due to variations in network participation (ANC DIFF jumped from 25k to 5.3 million within 30 minutes today)  but Megacoin just keeps gently climbing in DIFF and price very nicely  ( i only highlighted interesting coins and love the way no hashrate reporting networks are easily ID'd) -digeros

Oops, looks like someone lit the bonfire already. As daemonfox said earlier, I was hoping to get in a bit more of this low stress relaxed mining before this happened. Oh well... It will be much worse when the rest of the community figures it out.

All miners should see the benefit of the kimoto's gravity well. I am very happy since I saw that I can mine an efficient supply of coins with my rigs. Something that cannot happen with the insanely diff of other coins
