Can anyone vouch for this coin being good to mine?
Well they are rarer than litecoins (only 42M eventual mintage), difficulty is currently very low, and the supply schedule is geared towards rewarding early miners. It appears have a competent and somewhat charismatic dev. The question that remains is what links, if any, this has to kim dotcom, and what that may mean for the future of this coin. I'm soloing it atm and cautiously optimistic.
All coins favor the early adopters. I dont know of any coins that start with 2 or 3 coins and work up to 500 at the end of the run.

I like the foundation of this coin and it has some buzz in the community, which is always a plus. The volume on cryptsy is a bit low but that will change. Btw if anyone would like to sell some MEC, I'd like to buy.
