Cheap and easy advertising
Just saw this today. Congrats for this new innovative projective of yours. Time to switch from Adbit.co and support this much better network with a lot less fees - actually doing good to bitcoin community.
Let's hope more people see this too.

please release cpm/cpc ads soon Smiley

ps. here is another site abusing it with over 15 ads http://nbord.com/

The cap is now 5 ads so it doesn't matter. If someone wants to put up 10 million, they won't get any benefit.

Hi everyone,

Maximum limit of 5 ad spaces per website as of 6 July 2015

After reading through all the comments on this thread and discussing all the pros and cons of each argument we have decided that we are going to implement an upper limit on the number of Mellow Ads ad spaces per website.
The number we have come to is 5, and we will be implementing this limit as of tomorrow i.e. 6 July 2015 - so it won't affect today's pool earnings at all.
Hopefully this represents a good compromise allowing publishers to earn from multiple ad spaces spread around their site, but continues to provide good value for money for advertisers.

The way this will work is that although you can actually create and publish as many ad spaces on a web site as you like, you will only get paid from the network pool for the best 5 (i.e. the 5 with the most unique views on each day).
We will be emailing the small number of publishers who are currently just over this limit to advise them of this - and we will add some text into the Mellow Ads system to make this clear.

Thanks for all the support so far Smiley

Baztardo, Mellow Ads

First of all, about the number of ads, I think it's a good compromise. The sad part is with it being limitless, publishers (like myself) had to overdo it to remain competitive with those that were adding more than they should. This is a great solution to fix that problem.

Second, I got the email you sent out and wanted to say thanks -- far too many services don't send out actual notices like this, and things can go missed for weeks or months. Huge +1 for actually reaching out and contacting us via outside methods.

Soon, I have to go away.
I sent some BTC to my account D8FC8144B6DA.
When will I be able to publish my own paid ad.

We received a deposit from your for 0.0039 BTC - so this should be showing on your account and you should be able to start an advertising campaign now.
If not, then let us know the problem you are having

OK thanks, will have another look around to see if I can manage it.

Hi, I see some sites have pretty much the whole site covered with your mellowads, and I assume they get revenue for each ad space they have. This sort of defeats the purpose of having these, as some ads might be repeated, which is both unfair to the advertisers and publishers.

You should set a limit of adspace you can set up, like 2-3, would be enough. Some sites have traffic that are not even 'real', like bots or whatsoever. Just to clarify, does this ad system works through the advertisers setting up a daily budget and their ads get automatically displayed through all the adspaces, or does the advertisers choose their adspaces themselves?

It seems like all the ad spaces there have ads displayed on them, regardless of their views/clicks, so I  assume its the former one. So once again ads may be repeatedly displayed, so you should give it a limit. Smiley Love this new ad network though, pays quite a lot as compared to the others. Tongue

I want to ask about, how long does the status change from inactive into active ??

And my alexa didn't show, with 0 ad space  Huh

I take it you are a publisher? If so, what is your web site, I will take a look and try to see what is wrong Smiley

Personal Text Space Not For Sale
Hello there. Just make a 728x90 advertising slot on BitRevenues. I wonder if I create more slots, will the stats be unchanged like A-ads? By unchanged I mean it only add views and clicks to one slot - that what A-ads did.

No, we operate differently to A-Ads in this respect.
Each slot counts its views and clicks independently - and are classed as unique for that ad space only (not across the page or the whole network as A-Ads does)

It is good to hear that MellowAds operate differently from A-ads. I'm going to create more Ad units and place on my site soon. Anyway, how is the public-earning feature coming along - showing total earning to public.

dude just leave, your site sucks and we don't need someone abusing a good system
maybe you are the big sucks

Stop it already, it's your own fault who actually scams advertisers and other publisher's shares. Also he already replied you in the quote below
You won't be paid if you try to scam the system. Simple as that.
You are the publisher that I mentioned above who created a web site with 55 ad spaces on it. After we banned that, you tried to create it again, this time with 112 ad spaces!
And then you emailed us asking us to close your account. So no, you wont be paid.

By doing this, you are trying to cheat other publishers out of their share of the pool and you are cheating advertisers who are not getting quality views of their paid campaigns. And if we don't take this sort of action, Mellow Ads will lose all credibility with advertisers.

Yes we need to get our T&C up, but no matter what is written there we can't possibly cover every single scam attempt that someone is going to make. So in the meantime the 1 condition for using Mellow Ads is "don't try to cheat/scam the system, or you will be banned and not paid/refunded".
