Why is this coin called memory coin? It should fund some kind of memoir/diary/journal project, or at least something to keep record modern history... Or something memory related. Idk.

It's called Memory Coin because it uses a large amount of RAM (Memory) on your computer to hash.

yup someone might take the job up someday like bytecoin (see me Tongue) ahah

PLEASE Ahmed take the development of this coin.

Ahmed can't handle that, he's not a programmer / has never written any code on any coin.
Only compiled coins or copy and pasted.

Incorrect, i've done a bit of wor on bytecoin including sending out a working merged mining client. which is active on the network. Secondly i was the dev behind cloudcoin until i found out about the absurd premine.

how can i get back the meg coin to my local wallet from the bter.com? the client can't sync. the deadline date  is 2013/10/14

Do you have the latest Version?
If not, you can download it here: http://memorycoin.org/downloads/memorycoin-qt-latest.zip

Also, when starting, try to start with the "start.bat" (this will add noods, so you get more conections to the network)

Hope that helped Smiley

yes,i use the latest memorycoin-qt,but don't sync, stop on the 8720 block  Huh Huh Huh the active connection is 0!

You tryed to start with the "start.bat" and still dose not conect...how long have you waited for it to get a conection?
Well if all this dosn´t work and you have waited more then 15 minuts for it to get a conection (somtimes it takes some time)...then I would try and make a reindex (by clicking on "StartReindex.bat").

Let me know if any of that got it solved  Wink

so please FT , tell me point for point , how can i help this coin stay alive?

If no one successfully revives the coin, I'll consider a relaunch. It'll be a month at least.

Probably a soft private launch at first - to get the kinks worked out and to delay the crazies.

Anyone who understands what I'm trying to achieve and wants to be involved, please send me a private message and I'll include you.

freetrade, i am a totally newbie and when i start reading about altcoins and start minining with my cpu (memorycoin) i thougt it is/was great , but the only issue i got was that my wallet stucked on a few blocks and that i didnt get the hole thing about the voting system (maybe because my english is not very well) that is the reason i send some coins to a wallet i got from the forum , (just try to help)

But why stop with this coin if you got so many people behind you , you went on strike and still the hole community is standing behind you , isn t that worth a lot?Huh??

so please FT , tell me point for point , how can i help this coin stay alive?
