Tell me, the total number of tokens is 10 million? Or will there be more and more of them every day?

Hi,

Mintage is ongoing. The Metronome Owner's Manual (as well as other documentation) actually covers supply. There was 10 million on day zero. 8 Million were available for purchase during the initial supply auction. Once the initial supply auction ended, the daily supply lots began, these mint at the rate which is greater i) 2880 Metronome daily or ii) 2% of the then-outstanding supply annually, ad infinitum. So 10 million + 2880 daily

You can also read about the motivations for this in the owner's manual under the "motivations" section.

Just discovered Metronome and I will soon invest some time in reading the whitepaper- I'm especially interested in the cross chain features of Metronome, is there any short explanation on how that works?

Hi,

So the Owner's Manual actually has a section that describes Metronome's cross chain features at a high level. I'll link it for you: https://github.com/autonomoussoftware/documentation/blob/master/owners_manual/owners_manual.md#cross-blockchain-portability

Thanks!

Your professional profile on the blockchain
Guys; there is no blockchain, so what exactly are you speculating on?  I see a number of issues with metronome.

how is no blockchain he is. this is one of the most important components of the successful projects of a successful future

Tokens utility can prove its worth easily, through tangible utilities. On the other hand, value storage is hard to set up because they need a solid reputation, proof of concept for a certain period of time, endorsement and trust of players and strong demand response. . Metronome has some of these factors but not all, time will make the success of this project.

Hello

1. From user manual I did not understand how new blocks will appear, how transactions will be verified in one chain? There were some words about POS+POW hybrid system, but nothing more about mining.
2. One more thing, how decisions about development will be made after net launch? Just forum wars and conferences? Or some kind of DAO is envisaged?
3. How will be chosen who validate and provide exporting tokens (cross chain)?
4. How will correlate changes in balances on different blockchains if speed depends on network characteristics as it is said?

I'm very interested in these questions. Your ICO is really non-standard and it's not bad, but people want to know some technical details, but you did not share your white paper(

Thank you

Hi

I would suggest seeing the owner's manual as it describes Cross-Chain and validation at a high level. The devs are writing a more in depth paper on this as well to help give a more technical understanding.

1) There is no mining in Metronome. New MET enter the ecosystem via autonomous daily auctions conducted by the smart contracts themselves. The proceeds from these auctions stay in the ecosystem and move daily into the the Autonomous Converter. This process and math outlining this are found in the owner's manual.

2) See this post: https://medium.com/@MetronomeToken/returning-to-functioning-decentralized-cryptocurrencies-from-the-start-51281aa9588f, in short, the community will define Metronome.

3) The more technical document on this will describe this in more detail, but there will be three phrases of validation roll out as described in the owner's manual. Jeff had a tweet about this as well that describes it at an even higher level: https://twitter.com/jgarzik/status/1009485479815892993

4) It rides on top of other blockchains, so it would share some characteristics of the underlying such as blocktimes and fee structure, potentially other features if those are part of the consensus algos.

Thanks, sorry for the delay in response, I thought your questions were already answered. Hope all is well.

Please, do we need to increase the standard gas limit to send ETH to your contract address in this ICO?  myetherwallet and most others have standard limit of 21000, is this enough gas or does it need increasing?

It can help to increase the gas limit, yes.  It is not required.

@jgarzik Do you really think these questions are so stupid and unimportant to ignore them? Huh

leafing through the page I was hoping to see the answer from the team to your very important questions, but unfortunately there is no answer .. my opinion will remain ambiguous ... based on the reading I see red flags

I see the price of the Metronome began to fall, do investors lose interest in the project? I am looking to buy a 2 dollar for a coin.

You are correct that Metronome does not have its own blockchain, but this is by design. Metronome ride on top of other blockchains and will be portable between compatible blockchains so that if an owner wishes to move their MET for any reason (fees, security, block times, so forth) they can.

You can read more about this in the owner's manual, and also read more about the importance of portability in this linked article: https://medium.com/@MetronomeToken/why-portability-matters-in-a-built-to-last-cryptocurrency-e00a463333a5

Thanks,
