Metronome was initially issued on Ethereum with Ethereum Classic, Rootstock, and Qtum support expected to follow. As the community continues developing Metronome, it may be compatible with even more blockchains.

MET are the coins. Part of Metronome's goal is to not be tied to one chain only, but rather, allow owners to move their MET where they wish to -- they get to decide where their MET resides. I highly encourage you to read the Owner's Manual and view the code on GitHub, as it explains the motivations and how Metronome works.
